I'm more of a proponent of the original idea of small neutral-ish power bases of different types that expand if not taken care of in early game, eg- dragon, necromancer, etc.

1. Use pastebin.com for large text. 2. It DOES crash like that even for me sometimes, sometimes 3x in a row- keep trying to run it 5-6x in a row.

Only if people are living under a roc...oh..right. Heh, in all seriousness go play some Paradox game, Crusader Kings had nice lil family trees, though I think (And hope a lot) that E:WoM will be better, as it brings up all sorts of cool mod possibilites, and I like to Role Play my guy...even in single player..im crazy.

I think extra terrain, especially with the possibility of creating it all with magic, and how cool it would make the cloth map look, and strategy options..all equal = GOOD.
Quoting Bingjack, reply 3 Its really too early. I like a lot of the concepts and potential, but it's not really *likeable* as a playable game at this point. Which is precisely the way they said it would be. They were up front about this. Exactly. There is nothing likeable about the Beta (Other then the 8 bit intro joke). What we all love are the concepts and potential.

This is with a loaded game, one with missing city graphics. Invaded with a troop of ten custom units. The borders were touching each other. http://pastebin.com/m1cc253fc
annoying things about games like these is the crucial land grab at the beginning. If you run into too many foes at the start, this will slow you down and possibly cost you the game. This leads to a frustrating restarts
Life, and games, can have high luck factors. As long as the code is right it shouldn't be too killable anyway, and if you get stuck with 5 dungeons near you...well, that's 5 chances of good loot to!

Please at least do a quick search for anything resembling your problem so we can put all similar problems together and keep info more easily accessable. Also use the pastebin.com site for long text (I killed a page with maaanny lines of text).
