Since I preordered Elemental: War of Magic., and was told that since we bought the game before X date, we would get a free expansion. And in the past news this now expansion that has been turned stand alone game, will we get it for free or pay? If we are going to pay, what expansions are we going to get for War of Magic?
Well, as of now I can't get this game to work at all and there's TONS of people having the same problem... and yet, in none of the reviews I saw this problem (bigger than memory leaks, balance, etc) was mentioned at all... while Elemental got completely thrashed for its technical problems... so back to the OP, they weren't treated with the same merits at all... and that makes me sad...
Yes , I a
I like the Impulse client the best, then Steam and D2D. However D2D has great deals and I have never had a problem with them. D2D does have Comrade now which is a good client, but usually I just download the game and play it like a box game.
quoting post I been hearing a lot of problems are going on with Civilization V. I am curious if that game will be judged by the same merits that Elemental was judged? What do you guys think? Yes. If you compare Civ 5 at launch to Elemental at launch, it goes something like this: - Civ 5 is having crash issues for some people in DX11 mode. Dropping to DX9 and/or updating drivers se
Can you also be more specific as to the 'problems' you are referring to? From what I've seen there are not really an unexpected problems, and most people, other than those who know their specs are on the low end, seem to be running mostly crash free. There are some issues apparently at start up with stuttering, but it seems to go away after a few turns are played. Hardly game break

I guess I am one of the silent players out on the forums. But I would love to see this happen and I am with this game for the long haul so I am patient.
I like the game. And I play it more than I do Starcraft 2. However there are problems with the game and I would like to see them fixed quickly. But Stardock is one of the very few companies that I trust to get the job done. I have been playing there games since Gal Civ 2 and trust them. And if they do get the game running 100%. I will spend more money on their product. If they don't I won't. But in the end everyone has three choices. Like the game and wa
Hey guys. I guess I am spoiled and I know better than to do this. But I started playing with the game settings (video, game play, etc). And being used to other games having the default button, I made a lot of changed to the game. Forgetting my changes and realizing there is no reset back to defaults button. I went in the game directory (my games folder) and deleted the files there to make the reset. Now my question is: Is there a better way? As th
I thought it was a fair and decent review. The website is decent enough , the name of the website may seem childish to some, but gets the point across.
Pc games aren’t tradable (and copy able) and that is their bread and butter. I haven’t bought a hard copy game in three years.
This article is nothing more than vitriol because of the gamer bill of rights. Most Journalist/Critics are nothing more than vultures trying to get a feast. The more hits they get, then more attention and money they generate. The game was playing horrible when it released, but last nights patch cleared my lagginess right up. Most companies would not have had patches out there that quick, if at all. In the beginning of the early gaming years news was pleasant, now it mostly a whinnying fest.</
I never knew, but happy it is going to come..........

I extensively play most of my games in LAN, with son, Bro in law and nephews............ For Elemental you will have to have you, your son, bro in law, nephews etc all create an Impulse Account. On that impulse account they have to purchase a copy of the game. You can install using whatever copy, but for multiplay each pla
I got to agree, not the best idea. Besides mods really love moderating, they don't want help! [e digicons]}:)[/e]
I have been building Pioneers to make other cities and getting caravans between them. But I don't know if that helps since I got my third city up last night before going to bed. But when I see a special resource I build a city next to it, if it is away from another city.

If it is not that great, I won’t worry about it. I really can’t search forums about anything because I don’t know anything, lol. I am an old Master of Magic/Orion fanatic and the only reason I bought the game, besides liking Stardock…… Thanks guys for the help anyway!!!
Thanks for the quick reply. I am at work and wanted to read the manual here, before going back home to play. Don’t want to download, install Impulse and the whole game on my work computer just to read a manual, lol. Plus I got 12 hours to burn at work, would be nice to read it when there is some downtime……………. Thanks again...........
Hey guys! I bought the game last night, started downloading. The game finished and started the game up and there was an option to look at the manual. But I was really tired and gone to sleep. Woke up this morning, drove to work and wanted to download the manual so I can get info before I go home today. So my question is: Is there any place I can download or look at the manual?
