ICO lag only occurs in lobby, if you lag ingame issue is on your side.
Mecha I'm not 100% sure how ICO is set up but I think ICO can and does lag your game just as it lags the lobby. I could be wrong about this but given my knowledge and experience; I have come to the conclusion that ICO does cause lag in games being played over it.

Thanks Zombie, I guess that makes a large portion of my rant invalid.
One thing you should note is that while there are allot of players worth listening to some players (no names) will intentionally mislead new players simply because they can.
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=M3NHRJIH /begin rant There are 2 replays played 2 days apart one is a 5v5 match the other is a 2v2 When I see a new player/account name I try to look and see how he is doing, is he a pro smurf or noob. In the 5v5 it looked to me like HP_DVP6 was a noob, if you are skilled and watch him you will probably see why I thought that. (note: I didn’t watch him the whole game just zoomed out
Is your sound working properly for other applications? Is it possible your PC isn't up to running the game (around or below the requirements)? You can try restarting your computer and seeing if that fixes it; also you may have another program running that cause sins to mess up.
I think super weapons are one the of the things that is difficult to balance for both single-player and multilayer. As long as they aren't OP for multilayer this is something I'm okay with if its balanced for single player. As much as we multilayer players want everything balanced for us the fact is that the majority of the player-base are single-player players.
Another possibility is that you lost some labs needed for the upgrade you wanted.
One of the reasons to use scouts to expand is so that your fleet can be fighting your enemies instead of clearing militia. The primary reason bombers are better then fighters at clearing militia is because flak will kill the fighters.
I was just trying to help you don't have to agree with me.
- Build a Capital Ship factory and produce a Halcyon Carrier. Upgrade the Adept Drone Anima. Produce 4 fighter squadrons;
Bombers are better at taking out militia
- Drain your population count by building as many Disciple Vessels as possible;
If done right scouts are better at helping you expand fast (jump one scout in shift queue it to go in a big circle jump 5-10 more scouts in take out plant bombers and lrm colonize planet build 1-3 tur
How often do you crash? the game crashes if you use windows so boot camp might not be the problem.
Did you make sure to have the Progenitor jump in first? If the seekers arrive first, the militia will target them instead of the tougher capital ship.
Also if someone else has a ship in the system when your progen jumps in and its leaves or is destroyed the militia may target your seekers.
On the weekends at prime time there is about 50-60 players online, weekdays about 40. If you cannot wait more than 15 minutes for a game then sins multilayer isn't for you. About sins online multilayer: Most competitive players like larger games like 4v4 and 5v5. It isn't uncommon for it to take more than 30 minutes to find a game, most experienced player go afk, alt tab or use windowed mode so they aren't idle in this period. Once you find enough players for a game wait time for the
Matt that is a nice fleet but a costly fleet. Also 1 level 3 concentration aura is better than 3 level 2 concentration aura you’re better off getting a Halcyon and/or a progenitor then more than one capital ships that boost strike craft.
hard to ban him if he is buying multiple copies of the game...
This is one way increase sales; However if he is using illegally obtained CD keys this can be a difficult issue to solve.
Thanks Craig I'm glad this is taken care of; this guy was at the point where he thought he could do anything and get away with it.
Which begs the question, if it is balanced properly, why build immobile starbases when you can build phase jumping Titans?
1. starbases will probably be stronger per cost 2. fleet supply 3. you can upgrade starbases with what you want when you want it (more or less) 4. there will probably be a limit how many titan class ships you can get and/or it might take more then one capital ship crew 5. I can see a ship class like this taking at lea

Grey I find most of JJ's reasons resonalbe 1. Do you want to disappoint your team or do the same stuff every game till the next patch. 2. While I don't do this, I'm not surprised to find that JJ multitasks with other projects while he plays I think it's debatable whether its a reason to smurf to not. 3. It can be frustrating when you play a 3v3 and your team cant 2v1 the worst player on the other team 4. While it's difficult to know what actually happens here I
Stardock we ask you to do something about this spammer this isnt the first time he did it and we cant even ignore him with the name he is using this time please either ban him or limit the number of messages he can send every minute
Kharma there is more to balancing the game then raw numbers I mean tell me who would win the following battle: 1 illum and 20 guardians with repulse vs 20 billion cobalts The numbers are staggering on the side of the cobalts yet something tells me they wouldn't necessarily win I realize that the above is an unrealistic scenario but I'm assuming you get my point. You can have all the processing power on the earth for the next 100 years grind away to balance sins
As advent: 1. lots of bombers 2. Crudaders or Illums mixed with Progen shield restore and Iconus Guardian 3. Solanus Adjudicator In general choice 1 will work very well vs AI, if the AI sends too many ships you just jump out and wait for them to leave. Choice 2 if you do it properly you wont lose any ships however you need to be careful with TEC and Advent star bases because of self destruct and meteor shower. You r
Would any of you be happy in a game where you are fighting 5 DT members? I know i wouldn't unless I pretty much had the 4 best non DT members as allies. Putting that aside we (players with lots of ICO experience) all know that DT like to stack the teams whether that's because they like to win or play with clan mates is hard to tell maybe a little (alot) of both.
tec must research lasers for fighters,
TEC fighters use the gauss weapon type.
advent cant even up damage of their damage dealers (ilums/bombers) untill 4 labs
They get the first beam upgrade at 3 labs.
I think the cause of this issue is how often the game checks to see if the ship con colonize, if you wait long enough it's been my experience that it will colonize, just not as soon as it can. For example if when you enter a grav well and you can colonize the auto cast will activate and the ship will proceed to colonize the planet; but if you don't have the tech or the antimatter, then it will take a little bit after you can colonize for the game to realize it needs to send the ship to coloni
