The real problem with Vista is that it contains too many features, period. Even if you disable the features, it won't help. Looks a lot like Vista to me. The only thing I like so far is the Theme selection window. Everything else looks more of the same, if not worse. I was expecting a revamped UI; Something that the world hasn't seen before. You're disappointing me, Microsoft. :(

I've been reading through the Stardock Consumer Report, and on the MyColors Page, it mentions that there are cool skins out there, but the snaps can be lousy. I admit, I hate making snapshots for my Windowblinds skins. Icons are troublesome too. Glassphire (Beta 2) Update in WindowBlinds WinCustomize Forums

I have been working hard on trying to complete the XP portion of my skin. Beta 2 includes XP File dialog animations, shutdown and logoff buttons, transparent menus, and a new button & tabs style. While building my beta, something came across to me that kinda bothers me. I realize that if the colors of a skin look good on one monitor, it may not look the same on another. Come to think of it, all monitors have different contrast ratios and color settings. Changing XP File Animations in SkinStudio Help WinCustomize Forums

Using Skinstudio, i am able to change most of the items, but what I can't change is the XP Progress animations. I want to create my own animations, but there is no import button. All it lists is a selection of the default progress animations that originally came with the skin. Does anybody know how to change the progress animations in XP? What program(s) can build such animations? I would like to create my own, so it matches with the rest of my skin.

I am happy to announce that Beta 1 of my "Glassphire" skin is almost complete. This release will have full support on Vista, and i've added some changes to XP as well, because the demand for XP is still very high. There will be a limited number of changes in XP for now. As part of my routine maintenance, I perform tasks such as Disk Defragmenting, Registry Error checking, and Disk Error Checking. But what I HATE about Vista's error checking is that there is no screen when it performs the scan. I saw your video, and I have the exact same problem. It's not a Windowblinds Skin problem, it's the Firefox theme you've installed. I have the same theme, Aero Fox 3.0.1. Sure it looks cool, but all of the menus don't display anything. The menus do display in XP, but not in Vista. I know this because I have both versions installed on my PC. Skinstudio 6 Freezing Issues in SkinStudio Help WinCustomize Forums

I don't know if this happens to anybody, but whenever I edit certain elements of a skin, such as the menu backgrounds, or the Taskbar, the whole program freezes up. I always end up launching Task Manager to end task. And when I try again doing the exact same thing, it freezes again. Saving the skin as a different name doesn't work.
