Okay, with updated drivers and such, the game will crash on launch unless familytreesubwnd.dxpack is deleted. If I tab out and restore the file afterwords, everything is fixed except #4.

It was a number of turns into the game, and I belive it was at the end of the turn. I actually haven't been able to pull up a save menu, so I guess that also counts as a bug.
