I had the idea to have someone else finish off that Hulk WB, but maybe that isn't such a great idea. Not every thought is meant to have a green light attached to it. Best wishes for you, Don! [e digicons]B)[/e]

The only other option that I can see is to use Linux [Virtual PC sandbox] to get what you want. Maybe. I am not even sure of that. I seriously doubt any skins that require patching can do what you want, and patching of windows files seems awfully risky to me. Windowblinds is a safer option, since patching could mess up the registry. Or you could use Windowblinds in a virtual PC, sandbox type environment, running Windows 7. Not sure if that would work either.

I may be mistaken, but how can Windowblinds be the reason for the problem? I am beginning to wonder if Microsoft wants to make sure that no skinning will work on Windows 12. However, there are always people who know how to code and who are very creative when it comes to devising workarounds and alternatives. So the cat and mouse game will continue!

Probably because Microsoft has coded Windows Explorer in such a way that is does not get skinned. Just the title bar at the very top gets skinned. I don't think Microsoft is very friendly toward custom desktop themes aka windowblinds. Some people get better results with system patches in order to change to a more stylish and better looking theme, but that comes with some risks, dangers and trade offs. I don't use those system patches because of the risk involved. Windowblinds is a safer way t

The other day, I was wondering if there should be a section of wallpapers formatted for mobile phones. Is this a good idea or not? Just thought I would toss it out there! Or perhaps it would be a better idea not to have that in the main galleries but on a forum page? Opinions? Nay, yah or who cares? Not a big deal.

Generally, windowblinds 11 will not be skinning any of the browsers used for surfing or accessing the internet. The one exception to that rule that I know of is a browser called, "Pale Moon". You may want to give it a try!

Just a micro rant here. What is it about Microsoft, that they feel they have a right to go behind your back and change some settings against your wishes? I have things setup a certain way, and then I get a email saying that they are going to change the settings back to the way that THEY want, which is NOT what I want. Ok. Rant over. Just letting off some steam! [e digicons]>:([/e]

In the beginning, sometimes I would use a freeware engine, Perchance AI, which is free, and without a login. But I have found over time, that I wasn't satisfied with most of the results that I was getting, so I only use it for things that are not that important. There was another engine that I used to use in the beginning, but I seem to have forgotten the name of it. Might have been NightCafe, or it might have been something else. Most of the time, I have been using Leonardo AI. <p

I just uploaded a wallpaper and it doesn't show up, meaning there is no preview image. I tried again, same result. The name of the image is "Abstract Gradient."

One thing that might be able to make the pain a little more bearable is Curcumin or Turmeric, which is a natural, herbal anti inflammatory. Also, White Willow is a natural pain reliever as well. Those two, along with a herbal muscle relaxant, are what I use for pain. This is only a suggestion, and you would do well to consult with a health pro

Windowblinds 11 works very well. Windowblinds 11 is not the problem here. The problem is that Microsoft Office and various browsers are designed and built in such a way that they cannot and will not be skinned, period. That may also be the case when it comes to some other apps as well. It's the dawn of a new tomorrow! [sarcasm intended]

In my view using UX Theme Patcher is a risk. Unless you really know what you are doing, and know how to back up your important files and registry, not to mention knowing how to create restore points and how to use system restore, I would not go there. You would be a lot safer to just use Windowblinds alone. Now, as to whether the two have a conflict, I am not sure, but to use both on the same system seems risky to me. I wouldn't.

What is the name of the blind that you are using? It may be possible that the so called blind might be skinning everything except the taskbar. Does the same issue come up with every other skin or blind? And if by any chance you are using the default setting on Windowblinds, the default is Windows 11, and you will get the standard Win 11 taskbar.
