@Brad You call that a long playthrough? I have trouble keeping my videos under 90 minutes. There is so much I want to show people. Do you ever watch my videos from the modding forum?

The ones that were erased by the Cybermen still have the audio, just not the video component. They put together picture taken of the episode and play them sequentially with the audio. It is still very much better than much of today's TV.
I suppose you could have a proper troll diplomacy option, but I prefer the way it is now. Adding it to the diplomacy screen seems like alot of work for little addition to gameplay. Maybe Derek likes it though, who knows?
Trolls do not have the intelligence to conduct diplomacy.
The release date is firmly set at whenever the hell it is ready.
I am doing a long term Star Trek Marathon in chronological order, which is difficult to do given all the time travel. I am almost done with Star Trek: TNG and can finally watch past the intro to Generations. This is just after my 5 year long adventure into every episode of Doctor Who. Makes Star Trek seem easy.
Lairs*, not camps. You can mod all that in to your heart's content Griz. I don't think it is part of the vanilla design. It is interesting to note that the current system has all creatures in one faction. You could make a Troll faction, an Ogre faction, etc... and have them act more like tribes. You could also make a pretty cool Wildlands for any creature type. I think I would go with the latter. There should be lots of lesser Wildlands that say house a tr
Any chance you would up the starting hitpoints to 8? It makes for better battles and balances out those nasty damage spells quite well.
New video in the OP. I am getting closer to making the AI fight back. This is what it looks like when the AI is set to only build units and gets an Ophidian Lair right away.
notepad ++ is a great xml editor. One thing you can do to make a new xml is just delete all the content from a core file, then use "Save As" to save it as a new file with a new name. Now you can add whatever you want to the mod folder.
Nice Kael, I made the same change in my mod.
An easier solution is to replace the core file in the game directory. Make a backup copy of the original file and keep it somewhere else. Then edit the one you have in the game folder. If you are making lots of changes, this is the best way to go.
I am happy to see that we can now make Boots of the forest. Compass is a little too good right now because you can cross all terrain with normal movement. That is likely because we can only equip 3 items though.
It would still be nice to see Tarth's heroes want bows and Pariden's choose to be mages in order to maximize effectiveness.
The problem with that is that traveling the first time caused the worlds to collapse on each other. I think that is what made it possible for doppelgangers to cross. Crossing now that the rift has been closed would restart the process and screw over one of the worlds. Since they claimed that the bridge can't be used again, I would bet that only maybe Olivia and few others can cross. But they can probably go to many realities. On a side note, how hilarious
Some really great changes here. This is very encouraging. + Weapon preferences set on the sovereigns (so AI Irane will prefer bows, Markin prefers hammers, Verga prefers axes, etc) Is there any way this can be set for any hero in the xml? I would like there to be archer heroes so that when I make a Path of the Archer branch off of Path of the Assassin, I can tell archer heroes to go after the trait.
Point of fact, any magical attack that does no physical damage such as a mage's staff, will not gain anything from the +X to attack bonuses. That kind of bonus only works on physical damage, such as a bow or sword.
Arguing that a hologram had depth? The Doctor was great, so was Janeway, Tuvok, and in some episodes Belana. But they could not make up for Nelix, Kim, Paris, Kes, and Chekotay. The writing was pretty bad in the first few seasons as well. I can forgive any show for starting off a little awkward, but Voyager took forever to get its legs and by then the characters had nothing left to give. That is probably why they brought in a hot Borg to keep the show aliv
Considering it is an early tier weapon, it is doing alot of damage. My guess is that you are not adding amulets and rings to increase its attacks. Just using the stock staff will do about the same as using the stock shortbow. It is perfect for where it is in the tech tree. There is also a late game upgrade that makes it the best choice for ranged units. The only thing we might really ask for are some hero only versions with less of an Init penalty and more attack.
My guess is that separating the universes was part of the Watcher's plan to invade. It seems suspicious that such a smart man would hatch a plan that is so easily countered by shutting down the bridge. I must deduce that he either wanted the bridge shutdown, or someone else tricked him into doing so. It is hard to tell since we are only seeing the story as a fictional plot with characters, instead of watching the actual dimension where this is taking place. The correct answer may just be
Rule number one of watching Doctor Who: Don't ask what his name is.
Voyager was terrible in the first 3 seasons. Not a show with alot of rewatchability. The characters had no depth or anything really interesting about them. Nelix was just the worst. It only got good when they ditched the main characters and started focusing on 7 of 9. Even then, it was mostly just for us robosexuals. This show really missed a great opportunity to deal with the philosophies present in Star Trek. The sad thing is that Voyager is still one of the better sci-fi shows
I can't recommend season 1 of Doctor Who. 1964 was not a great year for television and many of the episodes were destroyed by the Cybermen in an attempt to take control of Earth. I would start in the 70's with color and a more entangled plot. There is a convenient time shift at which you can start watching, though i forget where it is. From there you only have about 30 seasons to present events. Certainly the best show ever made. Also, the longest show ever made. You really can't
It feels more realistic to me as is in .912. I am extremely happy to see this change as it's something I have been lobbying for ever since the beta went public.
Playing on fast pace is best for the size maps we have. On a larger map there would be more to do and thus less time waiting around. It also helps the AI, which is still in its infancy.
