That's an odd way to do it. Why not just tell all your team that they are fired a few months before release and completely ignore beta testers? It works for EA. They could learn alot from you guys.

Go ahead and try to camp lairs in my mod. You will get eaten.
Well ya, and really I am just asking that a level 1 Sov doesn't roll an entire empire. If you bring a full army in the first 50 turns and they are about level 4, that should take out a weak city. I am not saying make them impenetrable from turn one. I am saying let's finish the game and sell it to people.
Ya, didn't work.
The player solution until the game gets fixed is to change the internal names of those items so that the game can't find them when it tries to cheat. I really hope they nix the cheating. It is kind of annoying to find every reference and alter them.
There is a fundamental problem with simultaneous turns and monster vs ai-player strategic map movement
Pretty sure that was fixed in .983. It was on the changlog and Fb said he would do it personally. Monsters move after players now. The AI might have a few bugs like that. I don't see those kinds of bugs being the crucify type. I get a pretty good competition from the AI overall. And remember, the AI gets b
I don't think Fortify is going anywhere....
Well, they can balance the game or not. I am guessing they will.
Way ahead of you pomalley. I have several abilities like enrage, charging strike, etc. that do that. Tireless march though might be able to only affect the strategic I am still looking into that.
you could also potentially drop an outpost next to it and pray it leaves you alone when it's released from its lair
Somebody's been gaming their own game.
I solved this by making it a unit only bonus. It sucks not to have it affect the whole army, but at least it wont stack.
This game is just great. You did a great thing here.
One more thing for .984. Can we delete Fortify from the game? It's human abuse against the AI and needs to be stopped. No means NO! [e digicons]>:([/e]
While I don't want cities to be an easy pushover, you have to be careful about making them too autonomous. The last time we had this discussion, my stance was that there is already too little impetus to build your own troops in this game, and cities with strong self-defense will only further deflate the need to build troops. I haven't seen anything to massively change that paradigm in the last few betas and I stand by it. Sure, I thin
Two weeks should be more than enough time to fix the remaining issues. I am more worried about the game not working on download and install than any balance issue. Assuming that gets solid, go for it! And release the mod tools!!! [e digicons]\o/[/e]
Nice change, thanks. How about a better form of Meditation for the third shard upgrade tech?
It's totally moddable. I have mine at a 1 to 1 ratio and it's pretty nice.
Need to nerf that in my mod! [e digicons]8C[/e]
That is exactly the thing I was hoping you would say. Blind is carrying the spellbook. Sure Curse has a contextual use, but most of those spells are DOA. The others need a buff and Curse needs to not have a casting time. Mass Curse needs a casting time of 1, with a high mana cost. This whole spellbook needs some love. Especially the +1 Attack spell. It needs to be more expensive and more attack. We started out with a random bag of unbalanced spells. Then we went big, else we go
I have been trying to get the devs to fix this. Bump!
I never noticed before. That is a good observation and deserves some attention. Bump.
I think a solid 50% reduction in the cost of gear is about right. Add to that a total of 50% trained discount once you have Command Post. I would give 25% from Barracks and 25% from Command Post. Also could be 25% from Fortress and 25% from Barracks to make it a little easier to get early on.
I am trying to imagine your sweet skelly heroes and my awesome path mod. It would be like the bastard child of Darkseid and Galactus.
Update says that the AI will be better about not settling next to monsters. Let's see what that does and make sure to give new feedback come .984.
Well, half Accuracy pretty much means a hero is worthless and a unit is going to get half its strikes. In the late game that is fine because we have lots of units in a battle. In the early game most people have maybe 4 units in a battle. It can also be used on deadly monsters and totally save a battle, giving massive amounts of XP. A cooldown would set it to be effective on one or two units, but the player would have to carefully choose which units to blind. Right now you can spam it and blin
I would like to change my response to the title's question: Yes, you have succeeded. Now give me my mod tools and release the campaign!!! [e digicons]:D[/e]
