This should be a relatively easy thing to do, both dot over time and damage scaling can be done. This will be the start of a continuing series of LP's by me showing off my mod and discussing strategy. Even if you don't play MA, the overall experience may be enjoyable. Let's Play Master's Affliction: Kraxis Episode I I get things started with some discussion of the new Sovs and then jump into a game as Kraxis. If you ever wondered how to turtle and what the gains and losses are, this i

New prereq tutorial up. It turns out that my videos needed to be converted to a smaller format before uploading. Should be pretty quick now.

New one is up about installing mods. I made six videos yesterday, but YouTube has only managed to upload 2... [Edit] Nope, the second video got canceled last night when I was asleep. Gonna try again.

Since you are adding new content, you don't have to have it in those files. Make a new file in the user directory. You can simply paste the stuff you took to that file and make everything there. Yes, CoreAbilities has all the traits in it. Find Air Apprentice and copy it to do what you want. Now you are ready to make a spell. This part is a little more complicated. You will need to find the spell that is most like the one you want to cre

Make an item that is your spellbook. Copy one of the books Pariden gets. Instead of unlocking Air Apprentice, have it unlock Warlord Alpha's Book of Hexes. Make a trait that has the name you used for the book. Basically you can copy Air Apprentice, but change the name and prereqs. Make sure it is not available for Soc customization. Now add the spells you want. For their prereq, use the trait you just made. So then you have a book that unlocks a trai

I am pretty sure the IsWorthy calcs are working now. The last two updates had changes in the changelog for those tags. And with AI priority, we can mod much of the AI. We can even create strategies for specific kinds of factions. I don't recall any game that has done more than this.

When I play MP on a game like this it is generally windowed. On my opponent's turn I study or watch TV. That gives me a good 10 minutes of dong something else as I strategize as a background task and keep an eye on his next 10 possible turns. Turn time is irrelevant that way and the number of players simply increases the time I have to do other things.

To be honest, our code is so different now, I can't even compare mine to theirs. I will take a look at how they did it and maybe add it to mine. I have 10 times the start of battle spells and most of them don't use animations. I guess I have not played Pariden in a while.

Oh it's a bug. It's one of those bugs the devs can't reproduce and thus can't fix. Why can't they reproduce it? Because the vanilla game has never been in a situation where someone has to attack a city twice. I don't think it's ever come up. [e digicons];)[/e] If only they had implemented better city defense. Anyhow, I will give you a chance to watch me for change. I am starting my LP tonight. I think you will be

I will wait to see what happens after the expansion. The official position and comments by the devs have promised stuff and then not delivered. That is true. But they had some pretty good reasons for not delivering for WoM. No money. Then FE came out and we got stickies as "mod support" or perhaps they count the thread detailing the modding tools too. I think for me, I have been using all that stuff since WoM, so it's not new or support. Really, there are only a handful and serious modder

It's a shame that made you quit. One thing I'll say is that this particular bug is rare and not even guaranteed to occur if you reload and kill
Because I enjoy the core game and I really don't feel like spending time changing its rules.
Have you ever been really challenged by the core game though? I played you in ES and you wiped the floor with me 6 times over. Knowing your skill level, I can't imagine the core game here to do anything more than amuse you.
