I play so much I only have dreams about the stuff I was supposed to be doing while I was playing. Last night I had the wierdest dream about picking my nephew up from school.

Yeah... I just played about four hours of Fallout New Vegas and it crashed six times. Much more than this game. And this one doesn't have those stupid cazador flies that are apparently the most powerfull creature god ever shat. [e digicons]>:([/e]
If this game were as addicting as replying on the forums... just one more post before finals... [e digicons]x_x[/e]
Fine, you caught me. I sent you that trojan. Please accept my apologies. Just go to www.bigwoodenhorse.com and you will see my formal written apology. I am very sorry. (Rushes to boats and flees)
For TBS that is this modable, 7.5 out of 10.0002 [e digicons]:cylon:[/e] [e digicons]:cylon:[/e] [e digicons]:cylon:[/e] [e digicons]:cylon:[/e]
I would rather have so many unique techs in the game that what we have now just seems like a backbone.
[e digicons]^_^[/e] No. Food = the number of huts you can build. If you have 5 food, that means you can build 5 huts. I can see why you might think it would work the same way as the other resources, but I think this way adds a perishable aspect to food that other resources do not have. I do think we should be able to sell that extra food in trade for other resources, but that is a different discussion altogether. Happy Far
No crossbows? How am I to kill vampires? Oh good they added garlic! That was my first mpression of Oblivion.
I got things confused then. Better this way.
The upshot is that 1.2 will be an expansion given for free to the original customers and available at a price for the lazy Larries. If you don't wan to buy, you will still get updates in some kind of 1.1 fashion. This is my understanding.
You only want the Ai to build companies until it does. [e digicons]:D[/e] [e digicons]8C[/e] [e digicons]:annoyed:[/e]
You realize that most of these will be pushed back to 2013 right?
Has no one here heard the good news of the gospel of Prirod? Best map so far.
I think war staves are fine if they go their own way in the tech tree, having a seperate class you can research. The current implementation makes me use them in the ealry game to wtfpwn level 1-2 creature ans then go for mundane and magic swords in the mid to late game. Not wonderfully balanced, but definitely better than not having enough weapons at this stage.
God I love video games.
It makes sense that you could buy a few spears from roaming traders for a Sov or hero, but not produce them yourself. Also make the game a little easy though. For better or worse I guess.
As I have heard it, +1 to influence would give you +1 to ZoC. If that is wrong, it has been changed and not documented as some things have been during the revamp we have been seeing in the last month. I don't think town hall does more than reducing city maintenance coss at the moment, though this is a guess as I haven't looked at the building code since 1.09h. As for spawning, if you don't get a resouce within 15 or twelve tiles, try making some saves and sending them over to the supp
This seems to be a bug. My advice is enjoy it while it lasts as it can be hard to get attacks stats high enough in the early game without it. Don't let it go the way of the talking wolves. [e digicons]X([/e]
Now we have come to an objective impass. Aesthetic is personal and isn't something one can change about the game. I like the expansive city design and am actually building a mod to make cities get taller and more robust as the game progresses. I have some problems with some buildings not scaling with others but in the end it is merely preference. This game emphasizes city over wastes. It is about rebuilding civilization. Of course the cities would function this way. There are few better ways
My solution to beta imbalance is to let the AI set the tone for equipment and logistics. This way I don't get a whole bunch of overpowered units while the AI is just using leather and sticks. Makes testing the battles alot more fun since victory isn't assumed. I have noticed the AI at very far distances from the player doing much better in fielding an army. When we are in 1.1 and 1.1 I will check out changing the values, but I think it would nice to keep other modders and mods in mind
Oblivion was fine. I played more morrowind because it had more options and play styles (though we all which one was totally broken... Heavy Armor+Axe Weapons) and a very fun physics engine that made cheating a new game in itself. Oblivion's highlight was going through town at the end and slaughtering everything moving just to see waht kind of items they had. My only true critique is a lack of option to let the bad guys win and deal with hell on earth. I don't know how they missed that one.</p
I was going to say as long as I can still commit mass genocide on those dirty cat people, but if its in Skyrim I'll have to take it out on the redguard.
Yet another reason to build your own map! [e digicons][/e]
You need to spend time reading maps from the medieval era and a little more thinking about quantum theory. Maps often depict cities as much larger than they are compared to their surroundings. In most maps, unitl the modern era, open areas with little value to the maker were shrunk to make room for more detail in areas that the cartographer recognized as important. Entire villages were obscured due to lack of cultural significance to the mapper. Think of the space around a cit
[quote who="Frogboy" reply="119" id="2843629"]I can see what both sides are saying here. What most people on these forums don't realize is that of the active people who play the game, over 97% of users who play Elemental (and are connected to the Internet) are running the last released version because they don't know there is a beta. Only people who have changed the Impulse mode to show betas will know there is a beta. The purpose of this post (as the title implie
