In GalCiv the trade ships could get weapons and defenses. There was also a wonder that made them unassailable. Wouldn't mind seeing that in FE.

MEGA kind of implies spoilers. It's not like the main story is very mysterious. You can pretty much sum it up in a sentence or two.
Nice. Thank you! [e digicons]k1[/e]
Now if you could only find a program that will get xbox live to automatically port through my 3 routers so I can play their games on my computer... Great one though!
Actually me and him are conspiring to make our own production company in the distant future. Unfortunately, in the biz means that he is a writer working at a talent agency in NY. He gets alot of inside information, but can't really do anything about it. I mean just look at Firefly. A group of six or so people were able to block the pilot, air the episodes in the wrong order, cut the advertisement budget to one tenth, and move the show to Friday (hospice for TV shows), thus ensuring low ra
I would lose all hope if this one had MP without TB. But I seem to remember you saying something about feeding on despair, so do what you have to do. Maybe the blokes at Stardock should think about making an Elemental 2: Dungeon Master in the very distant future. Something geared towards a D&D style play in multiplayer with singleplayer only used to test the DM's creations. You would literally sell millions and Elemental seems like the right platform from which to launch
Oh you do go on...
I am not supposed to say anything but the real fanboys got it before turkey day. [e digicons]O:)[/e] For some reason Lord Xia opted for the Pony instead. That was also a choice. But yes, immersion is an issue. I have a borderline alternate dimension kind of imagination. I never have a problem with that sort of thing. I would be all for a bit of logic lore game mechanic that doesn't cripple the AI or make outposts useless due to micromanagement,
I have a friend in the the TV biz and he tells me that they are still using some antiquated random sample of the most average Americans to get a huge part of their ratings value. It just doesn't make sense considering it is possible to actually see the number of people watching a show any given night. Online views and recorded views are still a side note to these ridiculous boxes they hand out. I guess they figure if they updated this to a popular count we would want the same th
When can we get the new downloader?
It was definitely spammish. A review is a critical examination of a game. Your thread was really just advertising the game's existence and providing a link to where we could play it. If you can find a thread similar to yours on this forum about a non-Stardock game, please alert Jafo and it will promptly be zapped. And your game sux!
It's always so hard to tell what someone means when they are using a second language, especially when writing it. Achul, to me, comes off as sarcastic. Maybe he is trying to be amicable or objective, but it doesn't seem so. Does stupid mean the same thing in our two cultures? I have been thinking about doing some research in the differences in written language and prose. *Please continue to debate*
Wouldn't the best way to harass trade routes be to attack the outpost and wipe them out? I feel little need for any connection to an outpost because there is also no connection between cities. Why would an outpost need something that a city doesn't? If you are worried about realism, this is a fantasy game. If you are worried about lore, the goods are either delivered by a third party merchant guild or teleported, whichever is cheapest for that location. If you are worried about gamepl
We got the nukes. Everyone else just shutup and talk like us. [e digicons][/e]
I think there was a technical issue that compounded the problem. I find AI tactics reasonable for the genre and the features in this game. Any talk of WoM is beginning to feel like trolling as we approach the beta. [e digicons][/e]
I find the tech for heroes both logical and an important mechanic. Not sure why it doesn't make sense.
Impulse was bought by the evil corporation Gamestop a while back. Stardock is making a simpler downloading software called Stardock Central. It will be released before beta. There are plenty of threads about this, including a preview of SDC. I am sure they will put up more info for the less frequenting users next week or so, when SDC is actually released.
Meh... the first one is better. And cheaper.
It is strange to see people buying WoM this late in the game. FE is almost to beta and in a few months will probably be released. I guess not everyone checks the forums before purchasing, but as a lesson to gamers, you should. WoM is definitely worth what it costs now, but it is missing some polish. Polish that wouldn't really make the game that much better. Polish that we will see in the new game. It's still a fun game and still the most flexible game if you are learning how to mod.
Impulse has nothing to do with it! SDC will be up in a few days.
I like the economy I saw there. Outposts seem very well implemented too. But what about the rebels? I expected to see them biting their thumbs or something at the edge of town.
Ima buy you a pony.
Okay, well if you like Heroes VI, then Disciples III will blow your mind. To each his own. [e digicons]:hrmph:[/e]
After hearing about that I will wait a year or two before getting this game. The mods aren't going to be that great until then anyways.
Way to ruin my babies in high school joke. [e digicons]>_>[/e]
