It is really annoying. His picture showed a "Terrain Bonus." The game used to say "Territory Bonus" and still does in our version. I call shenanigans. [e digicons]#:([/e]

No. There is a mod in the works that does this. The vanilla summons are fine.
Maybe +3 gildar and +1 gildar per market connected by roads. I like that.
This issue is glaring now that the AI can fight back. I started putting my archers in leather to protect them. They complain that it chafes. [e digicons]v_v[/e]
And when they are trained we have no way of deciding which tile they will spawn on. We need that little button for Galciv that let's us choose the exit point from a city.
I agree about techs. I like how choosing one tree only is more viable. I have been waiting for this for a long time. Although in this game I diversified due to having alot of crystal and iron. The only problem is lack of gold for this particular game. I will make a new post later today.
Did you guys realize that we can now build outposts to make roads wherever we want?
Don't forget that you can get more than 9 units on the field this way.
Once the gold is balanced better, I do like the idea that we have to chose between hero equipment and science funding.
Ugh. I wasted too much time sleeping. Need coffee and carrots.
You realize that spell resistance allows you to take on more difficult monsters sooner? I max out this stat as much as possible and get all the +1 Int for all my trained units from research buildings. It is so nice to resist an enemy fireball. I also love it when dirge falls flat and my units can just sweep up the Resoln.
Moving the Merchant to a citylevelup bonus is a great idea. But now it needs to be +3 or +4 per turn. City spam is very well under control. There is no need to worry about this being taken advantage of. We need to be able to compensate for not getting any gold mines. People who already have a good economy can choose other options. But leave the option open to reward players with direct gold. Some cities will only get to that level. I also think that the gold needs to f
I am on Challenging world and factions, Medium Map, Balanced Terrain, All default sliders, 8 factions, 2 juiced up to Hard difficulty. Writing this I just realized that the reason Lord Relias spawned next to me is likely due to having too many factions on Medium. It should really be noted somewhere that this can cause claimjumping. I am finding some real challenge in the AI factions and I haven't even found the Hard guys yet. Challenging can turn into total war very quickly. You have to t
+3 Spell Resistance is huge in a mage fight. The hp side should be a separate spell though. It seems useless/tacked on.
Beta 2 is starting off great. A little back story for this game, I had a terrible starting position and a bug is making people start way too close to me. Medium map and all the sliders at default. Challenging for everything, except one Kingdom and one Empire. Altar started at the very edge of where we could both start a settlement. We were on a thin piece of land in the corner. My land had an iron mine. His land had a Fireshard, Gold mine, Iron Mine, Wargs, and a Scenic Outlook. Needless to s
I noticed this too. If the intention is to prevent strategic spells from actually killing a unit, please make them have 1hp left. It is very odd to look at.
I am noticing the same shift some people are talking about, but it is compensated for me by the total frakking war strategy the AI has taken on. I am fighting a war on every front. I will post more about it later, but what i really like is how smart the AI is about attacking from new direction and surprising my defenders. Kudos on you guys for bringing the S back to this TBS. You could release what I am experiencing tomorrow and beat most of the TBS games I play. Of co
I think the problem is that we are getting too many snaked peninsulas and not enough open land at our starting locations. I am currently running a game where the poor Altar started not 8 tiles away from me. Those dicks used their far better starting city to block that side of the peninsula and forced me to scout the swampy uncolonizable side. I set up some outposts and then conquered Athica. It wasn't pretty, but it was either that or starting a new game. If we weren't both
I am playing as Tarth and even with the -6 Initiative penalty I can own units on a large battlefield right now. But the reason is that I have only fought peons and other lightly armored units. My bows get about two strikes during the entire battle. I really don't like this change. I am especially disappointed that Lady Irane has a Crude Bow now instead of the +10vs Beasts one she used to have. I will post again when I find an army with leather armor. This doesn't look good for archery
Well the kiting is solved.
I think that battles are going to end before 50 shots so why even add the feature? Sometimes simplicity makes more sense.
You just got Ebola.
New Beta!
There is homeschooling where your mom teaches you from home and there is homeschooling where your mom buys you a bunch of high school level books and says, "you have a test in six months." It's not illegal because I passed the test every year. I taught myself from 4th to 8th grade and surpassed the state's expectations. I don't know what kind of social reinforcement I missed. Anyone care to enlighten me? It seems like everyone else here learned that less fortunate countries get a
They are apparently tweaking some things. It will be out soon I bet. Maybe 5pm EST?
