Bandits would be cool if you could have them do bandit things, a bit like the spies in civ4 -Robbery ( attempt to infiltrate city to steal gildar, failure means your bandit can be caught and killed, could mean diplo penalty) -Murder ( Try to kill an enemy unit or hero, partial success could result in injuries to hero ) -Arson ( destroy a building ) -Bribery (try to buy the enemy hero ) -Steal technology etc... In the current beta state, I can relate to you for I somewhat feel the same. But I think the "multi tiles" cities and "building placement" schemes were originally intended to be somewhat of an innovation for this type of TBS game. I agree we still have to see it implemented in a way that lets it live to this premise, but there has been ideas and discussions on the subject. Personally I like it when characters in a game are making all sorts of Badass commentary. One of my all time favourite in this regard is Jagged Alliance 2. If you played JA2 you know what i mean :p I think there would be room for some creative work with the voices in FE. But of course this is but my opinion. If you really hate this guys many variations of YyYyYeEeEeEsSsS, i suppose you could delete the wavs in your equivalent directory. C:\FallenEn

Pathfinding was actually on my paper list and for some reason I omitted writing about it. :p @NaytchSG I never had this happen to me but i can see how it would be annoying! Maybe i should turn this into " The people's list of annoyances "! XD

Back in version 0.77 i had made such a list, some of you may remember. I will now update it with my latest 0.86 experiences. First of all maybe i should define what I, Maxwar, mean when I say "annoyances" . In the context of a game, for me, an annoyance is a small thing with a big impact. They are very often at the UI level but can also be a bug or a glitch or a strange behavior of something, they can even be the lack of a small feature, for exemple the build queue edit entry. <p

Did you see them too? I popped a quest hut and it was the one where when you unseal some cave a zillion swarm spiders come out and you have them everywhere around. Well, of course some of em ended up in the water. I dont know if they started there or went there by themselves. You can even see them through the cultural border line, lol <im

I Beelined Breon's letter to finally be able to do these quests. Actually they are all the Same quest, which i am not strong enough to do. I suppose it would get boring to get the same reward 1000000 times. Well, I killed two factions and only lady Procipine is left, suddenly im bored with this game. Ill start a new one. Still a funny bug though.

That is correct Neilo, I have viscerally hated steam for years and at some point 2 years ago I got fed up and deleted it, then i proceeded to boycott all the steamwork games. Now it has come to a point that practically all new games are Steamworks. This very week i finally reinstalled steam just to play one specific game. But now it appears to not like the fact that i use a Linux box as a router, for some reason... Which means it does not work and i cannot play my game.

Nope. my previous game was not going too well so i pressed esc - Main menu - Start a New game - Want to abandon your current game? - Answer yes and thats it. Im currently running around kicking butts and i can confirm the whole map is carpeted with dragon statues :p

I think some number went funny on my latest randomly generated map. There is like a trillion quests available, but every single one is Epic difficulty, which means i have not done a single quest so far lol.

ok never mind, finally found it... C:\Documents and Settings\maxwar\Documents\My Games\FallenEnchantress\ScreenShots Seems to be the norm to put everything in the Doc and settings folders nowadays. Call me old fashioned but i always like it better when every application is contained in its own directory. So i just made a shortcut to a more convenient location.

Is there an automated screenshot system in FE? Im used to civ4 where when i press Prntscreen the screenshot is automatically saved as a jpg in a special directory. Is there such a feature in FE? As of now when i want to take a screeny i have to press printscreen then leave the game, open paint, paste it then save it manually, its a hassle.

I was actually about to start a new Poll like I promised i would do back when i did the First poll. But then Stardock took it on. Ok so the game just crashed, its the very first time i ever have a crash with FE. All i did is move my army and it crashed. I went to the Debug directory and there is a bunch of .zip files with the debug files in it. But then none of em match todays date. The latest one was dated from yesterday. Is this normal? I thought the debug file was something created when a crash happened.

LoL at the possibility that somehow your old WoM spliced pieces of code with the new FE. Otherwise there is another explanation ... The game is alive!!
