Can anyone else replicate this? I right clicked a fire shard (the sword icon was up) and the game crashed.

I am impressed Stardock. I just picked this up today, and my first half an hour or so has been absolutely fantastic. I feel like you guys have really listened to the community, and I get that giddy feeling when I discover new things. GOOD FRIGGIN' JOB. *PS Also, alt-tabbing is a dream now. Nicely done!
Alright thanks man just making sure it wasn't an isolated issue, not trying to be rude at all I was just wondering what happened because prior it was working SO smooth. Looking forward for 1.2-1.3
I had to put down Elemental for a while for university, and I picked it back up because some of the latest fixes looked so good. Last time I played was around version 1.12-1.13 I believe, and the game was running like a dream. I pick it back up again today and download 1.19 and it starts lagging horribly. It was awful, I was enjoying the match but I had too quit. What gives? It was taking around 1.2 gigs of ram, which is fine my rig has 6 gigs/quad core/1gig dedicated Video s
These are absolutely fantastic. More items and interesting quests is always lovely. New quests + Some better quest GUI would be fantastic. It's hard to find quest locations sometimes, they should be available from the quest tab.
I have to say this is kind of disappointing to me. I purchased EWOM early on because I wanted to support the company, and I am getting the expansions free because of that, but I bought EWOM because of what it promised to be. In my opinion it was coming along quite nice with the new patches. Devoting new resources to a "stand alone expansion" (It's not, it's a new game based in the EWOM universe...) seems stupid. I'd rather play Dragon Age 2, a polished RPG with a tried and true system.... I h
I'm really confused here, can someone send me a link as to explain what is happening with Fallen Enchantress and Elemental? I understand that Fallen Enchantress is a stand alone expansion, but it sounds like a whole new game. How does the expansion "expand" upon War of Magic? This is really bothering me. Am I switching between two games or what... To me it sounds stupid to play a game, and then to play a games expansion separately, since they use completely different features...<br
These would be neat, hope the developers browse these forums. Some good ideas!
Agreed. Something REALLY needs to be done with the diplomacy system to make it more encompassing. Right now it's a joke, while the rest of the game is getting in proper order (Combat, Magic, Questiong, etc) the diplomacy system is sadly lacking.
So about those new and exciting changes....
Woots! Lets keep those sales coming in. The more fun a game gets=the more people blab about it=more cashola=more devlopment=more fun... ETC!
Thanks! Merry christmas to everyone at stardock as well!
I do like the idea of rare and cool champions. Would be nice to unlock like a Darkling Warlord or something for fun. I think the XP system needs to be redone but champions are indeed in-need of a change! Right now they are just conduits for my channeler. Mind you they can be pretty nice if I enchant them up ;)
That could work for me, but I think some system should be in place to make the higher levels an automated process.Maybe the administrator can only reach its final level when the town it's in hits level 5. *Shrugs* Something of that sort!
goddamn stardock, THIS
There we go, these are all awesome ideas for what we need. @nitey47 I generally agree with all your changes, we should have a building that alots experience to champions if they stay housed in a town, up to a certain level that is-I still think heroes should require some experience to be truly epic.
Oh wow, I never really knew that about the system. Yes please revamp the XP system!
Well thanks for posting Cerevox, i'm going to try and keep this one around for a little bit, hope someone catches wind of it. I mean not high on the priority list-But my champions really should feel unique to me. Want to add some of your ideas to the list?
I enjoy almost everything on here! Only thing is i'd like to see the "Adventuring" section to be an option. I still like my open ended maps! Your spell section is very interesting-I like the idea that spellbooks can also be a physical thing. Also glad to see more vouching for detailed heroes/champions. +1 for a well thought out post as well.
No-I like my Elemental being Elemental. Cities are able to be modular already depending on what you want them to produce and where they are situated. Technology becomes a global thing amongst your people, it doesn't make sense for one city to be living in mud-huts if your capital houses grandiose engineers. Technology and ideas spread amongst a unified cultural population... Furthermore you say that science and magic are at ends with eachother-I whole heartedly disagree here.
Yah, ne_zavarj. I got the game right when it came out and I understand how you felt... I loved the game regardless, but it had qualms where was due. 1.1 is lovely, bugs have been smoothed out and there is a noticeable performance increase. The economy and city building has been buffed up-And global mana is a turn for the best. The only thing I recommend you just relax about is the magic system-They revamped all the spells so we only have a few handfuls available to us now, but as has been sai
Thanks for taking the time to read it! Hope a dev gives a quick readover.
Hey, I don't post much but there is something I would love to see in the game and am just seeing what you guys think. Champions being the pinnacle of some form, whether it be diplomatic or martial, are the best in their field. I feel their initial jobs/features they offer should be enhanced as they level up, right now your champion who was a grand merchant eventually just becomes some conduit for your channeler. When my merchant levels up, i'd love to either have the option or see
