Well that's what I'm hoping by writing the article, that it will be seen, as Iv already opened a support ticket but didn't get a "real" answer as I was told it wasn't their department. I don't want to sound like a whiny baby I'm just simply wanting an answer and feel like I'm not getting any. I can be patient. I would just like some kind of estimate or at least to know what the future holds of the 64 bit and stardock relationship thats all.
Thanks Philly I will do so
What is up with inconsistency of Operation System compatibility? I mean you place all these great programs in a nice package like Object Desktop but then Unless you have windows XP x86 Your bound to run into a problem where you can't use one or more of the programs? I personally can name several programs off the list which I can't use all because I have a copy of windows vista 64 bit. Then questions get asked and no answers are given. Just look at the list and you'll see what I mean. <u
Thanks for the thought
I use Object Dock however since I have vista 64bit Rightclick doesn't work properly for me.
hmmmm well I hope it's resolved soon I love OB
I don't mean to be a nag or anything, but as I said I would love to be able to do it myself I just can't I have tried and tried and it always look like crap To answer you question I'm not sure about ramayudhistira but the program I am referring to is here [link="http://www.vistastartmenu.com"]http://www.vistastartmenu.com[/link] and as you can see there are two versions, a limi
Yes I know but I already invest enough money in computer customization I don't want to have to spend another $20.00 to get the pro features already available in DesktopX that's why I'm hoping someone will make a layout similar to it using desktopX. I myself would do so but as I said I'm not graphically inclined. Angel
Thanks for the link but that's not what I meant, I have windows vista, what I'm looking for is a layout similar to the one in the screenshot.
Echo, echo, echo, echo. Ok so it's still silence in this department, I'm tired of waiting. Why do we not get answers??????
For some reason whenever I try to import windoblinds skins to use on object bar I all I get is the old blue taskbar skin like in xp, I don't even have xp I have windows vista? Any Ideas? Thanks, Angel
I know this is an old post by indeed why aren't their any gallery feeds?? A Site like this should have some?!?!?!
I too have the same question as phil??
Since I can't develop anything that doesn't look like a 2 year old put it together..lol..I was wondering if any of our wonderful DesktopX Devs could possibly make a layout for windows that looks similar to [link="http://www.vistastartmenu.com/screenshot.html"]this[/link] I love the tabs at the bottom and the buttons at the top. I think it would be a great desktopX theme. Thank In Advance, Angel
he only downside is with BF2/2142 where you have to run in Admin mode if you want to play online because of Punkbuster. If you don't run as admin it will kick you off the server, not a big deal though. Actually all you have to do is download the punkbuster updater from Here and update your punkbuster client, then you don't have to run it admin mode. Of course that's granted you have disab
Someday I dream of better Icons for us all
What about updating Icon packager so windows vista 64 bit people can use it!?!?!?!?
Yeah it would defiantly be nice to see.
Hey has anyone heard of or checked out this vista startmenu program? I installed the freeware version to check it out and I must admit it seems nice. I like the feel of it. If I was graphically inclined I might try to recreate it with DesktopX or Object bar. What do you guys make of it? Angel
running 32 or 64? WB should run on Vista 32, don't think it's ready for 64 yet Actully I have it running fine on 64 bit it installed without a hitch
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MR SMILEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Personally My biggest complaint, is the fact that I have vista 64 bit and have a harder time finding compatible software for it. Case in point "Icon Packager" and having to wait for Windowblinds 6 to come out of beta so I can use it. But my husband has a vista 32 bit and I am yet to notice any "real" problems that couldn't be figured out just by doing a google search for them. I'm sure there will be improvements, most of us should be used to Microsoft releasing OS's in this manner by now, they h
I really wish 32 bit saw my full 4GB of ram rather than putting a full Gig into other stuff that I don't want it being used on..... *sigh* I hear you there. I would Gladly take 32 bit if it saw all my ram. But what you can do?!?! I'm so irritated with not getting any answers on this end. I mean as a paying customer you should at least get some kind of reasonable response to your questions, but I feel like we're purposely being overlooked. I mean new soft
