'm hoping the "Confidential Release" is ice-cream direct to my house. Or a system to get rides on Brad's boat. OR A PONY!!! OMG!!!111 A PONY FOR ALL SUBSCRIBERS!
Pony's Bite, didn't you see the commercial?? (LOL) But now Ice cream there's something I can jump on the bandwagon for just tell them mine should be butter pecan.....lmao. :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT:
This sound's Very Kewl I look forward to checking it out. :CONGRAT:
Nice video :CONGRAT:
I personally run vista, and while yes it took some getting used to and there are a few bugs, I really have no major complaints with the O.S. itself. Most of my complaints are very 3rd party related. It's just a matter of waiting for the world to update their software/hardware.
Which skins are those?
Ohh man I have so many wb's installed I'm sorry I can't tell you which one's exactly now, Sorry :(
Ok after switch to server US-2 and updating the xml several times here's what I got: Which I find quite strange since I have Deskscapes installed already???? Any Ideas?
The only version I can see in SDC is 1.90[b].023, which is the one I have installed. I tried changing the server and refreshing the XML on both servers(US-1 and US-2), yet I do not get the new v2.0 beta listed.
I have the same thing, I was able to install 1.90[b].023 but yet no 2.0? Any Ideas?
Hmm I have just installed Dreams (which is now available to all windows vista users) only to find I don't have volume control available to me for the wallpapers. Any Ideas? Thanks, Angel
Agreed, their fascist methods have gotten way out of hand. Spying on internet users, demanding isp records, serving lawsuits on minors and seniors ect... But what's more appalling is how software developers (ie microsft), hardware manufacturers (ie western digital) and governments both local and abroad are capitulating to the RIAA... Maybe they are afraid of being sued next, by the RIAA
I think they have totally lost their way, do they really think handing
#15 Make it so that Object Bar Properly imports Windowblinds 6 Skins #16 Make it so that Rightclick Properly imports Windowblinds 6 Skins #17 Make the theme Manager Work with the Newer Stardock Programs. (Logon Studio Vista...etc..etc..etc.)
I discovered that only some skins cause my windows media player 11 to not load anything but a white screen. After hours of searching I finally added a per application setting telling windowblinds to ignore the application and not skin it and now windows media player loads fine every time.
y startmenu does not have a hat (on XP at the moment, and given how much vista sucked probably will stay that way).
This suite was optimized to show off what OD can do on vista, I believe you would need vista to see the hat. Though don't quote me on this.
Well I was thinking something along the lines a web page that just says where they are in development there doesn't have to be a particular deadline mentioned just something that notes that it is in fact being developed or on hold (ie planning phase) or No plans currently. I mean that doesn't really hold anybody to anything but it at least makes the customers feel informed.
Funny I don't see many people being excited by the integrated search - I find it very useful in my work -- I guess it takes a developer to appreciate the power of searching - I still use findstr pretty often.
I like the integrated search, but it has to be noted that I'll like it better once the first service pack comes out and I'll be able to choose my search provider thanks to google taking MS on in that department. I'm just a fan of google though
For quick access to Task Manager in Vista it's not CTRL-ALT-ESC It is CTRL-Shift-ESC Easy mistake
I also like how you can simply right-click on the task bar and click task manager to open it.
Man the Internet could $20.00 a person to death, thanks for the list though.
I like vista and while there are still some things I think could use some improvement I'm not in any real hurry to run back to XP either. p.s. Don't forget the handy Favorite Links bar in vista
I must say I agree with Mr. Kash a regularly updated page would make sense just so people don't feel like they are in the dark.
Thanks a bunch guys, It seemed to fix my errors as well
You know I just read what I wrote and realized how sarcastic it might sound, I wasn't being sarcastic, I really do appreciate everyone taking the time to look at my post and reply, thanks again Angel
Sorry Zubaz I meant thank everyone who posted but I got phone call mid-typing..lmao...Don't worry Your not being ignored thanks a bunch I do appreciate you as well
Thanks for your reply Zoomba, at least I now know that there will eventually be compatible software, I was really starting to wonder. Angel
