You may want to check out [link="http://www.realtimesoft.com/ultramon/"]UltraMon[/link] and see if it helps with your multi-monitor setup I'm not sure about the Vertical but I know I loved it for having monitors side by side, as it adds a taskbar to each monitor and makes it so that what window you have on which monitor shows up on that monitor's taskbar.

It would help if you posted the error message so we new what .dll file was being whined about by your computer. Plus a few more computer spec's always helps.
