Impulse Anywhere is what you're looking for I think.

Playing some more Elemental, there are a few UI features I'd like to see added to the in-game shop. Subtabs to sort things to buy - perhaps: Weapons, Armor, Misc, All. A marker to see which items my character already has equipped (even when I'm in the buy tab) Showing me all items in "my inventory" even when they're equipped (use the same mark as #2) The ability to cycle between characters without leaving the shop. A button to take me str
There's already a couple threads about this, I'd recommend finding one of them for a full story. Short answer, it's because the beta keys are disabled. You should be able to get it when it's ready (non-beta) which may be tonight. Edit: I'm slow. Oh well.
Eh, Kyro is paid to be fast :P
Impulse is stardock's digital distribution platform - think steam, but you don't need to have impulse running everytime you start a game. Currently they're planning to release Elemental a few day(s) early to their pre-order crowd. I think the window on that is closed. Elemental's street date is August 24th, so you should be able to order it from impulse then.
What download?
Yay cross-forum misc. Elemental for the Beta-testers.
Wandered down to the local arcade with a friend and threw down $5 each, running through as many of the light-gun games as possible.
Quoting Pantasd, reply 9Assuming you make $30 a profit per game you sell... you've sold a LOT more preorders than I thought you would. they have a bigger profit if you buy only digital edition Uh... If they are breaking even they haven't made a profit on any of them yet.
I think we're conflating margin and profit right now - it's just language...
Only Beta is over. Clash of opinions, battles of will, Great Walls of Text, Eureka moments, silliness and beers will continue for some years in this forum (more in others). Plus, we get to beta test the expansion packs if we preorder then.
As Winter says, we are just getting warmed up. This should be one wild ride, IMO, and we're just cresting the first hump!
However, one thing I think that should be high in priority for Stardock is to make sure Reactor chatting can work with a program like Raptr. One fair criticism of GFWL is that once you close your game, you can't talk with anyone. I think integrating it with another chat program would serve Reactor's interests best.
I would love that. Most every "in-game" chat system doesn't expose the chat API, so 3rd party chat software cannot interface with the game's chat interface.&

As a benchmark, Python and XML modding were available for CIV IV on day 0. They released the uncompiled dll (SDK) at some point later in the timeline, around a year later. For some perspective on what should and shouldn't be done with DLL modding (something we probably won't have on day 0), see Xienwolf's thread on CFC . As annatar11 says, you only get to modify what is "exposed" to python in the dll.
Sareln CC: 153 Still busy whoring campaign achievements, but managed to pass all the challenges and play with friends from time to time. They're mostly at Gold, but we all went to school with this guy , so that probably pushed us up from Silver :D. EDIT: Also NA servers.
Sareln, I agree with most of what you wrote, but this: It also means that they naturally cannot work within the different price-fixing standards of each particular market. Since they are also offering Elemental at retail, they are stuck with the constraints put upon them by the retail markets they are participating in. Not quite. 1) In Europe ther'
Monopoly might take a while, depending upon the size and age of your family I'd be more inclined towards quicker games, perhaps something like Settlers of Catan or Robo Rally?
Stardock is smart to do the beta the way they did. If they had of released a full version near the end of programming developing stage it would have been out there on the Pirate sites before the 24th of Aug got here thus cutting into their revenue and profits even more. I've been beta testing for 25 years and I've seen it all. Most beta testers just want a free game and hardly ever send in a bug report. In this case we all paid to be in the beta
LAN Support? Errr LAN Support that requires internet, what is that? Somekind of joke? now your local house is LAN, the Internet is a really large WAN.... so you basically have "LAN Support with Access to Stardock WAN Required" feature.... Okay now that really doesn't sound very local at all. Is the LAN Support a feature where you can type the Local Network Address instead of the Internet IP to connect? Oh well enough fo

Everything is worth what its purchaser will pay for it. ~ Pubilius Syrus, Maxim 847 In theory, the seller sets price(s) which makes him the most profit or value. Perhaps a particular seller values market penetration over pure money, so he is willing to reduce the price so that a greater number of units are sold. With region based prices, the established price takes into account only the people of that country

This was expected, given Relic's complete Steam fanboism. Reactor needs to be released yesterday.
DOWII, at least the base game, requires GFWL for multiplayer. They may have changed it for Chaos Rising, but I don't own it (Chaos Rising), so I can't say for sure. <

Canonical answer to the %SP to %MP is "a ton" to "a little". [e digicons]:D[/e] That said, I would like mechanics to be flexible and able to handle any kind of player on either end of the window (eg. gameplay shouldn't change gianormously playing vs. humans or vs. AIs or some combination thereof).
Pulling out of the other thread and refining:
With Diplomacy- why would the player want Diplomatic Capital in return for giving up resources? If you can bribe the AI with Diplomatic Capital, there needs to be a reason for the player to offer something for Diplomatic Capital from the AI, and the AI needs to offer such trades. Maybe Diplomatic Capital should be spendable to get minor civs to join your empire peacefully, and the AI should do thi
Frakkin' sweet! I wasn't aware you'd implemented Damiansky's idea for diplomatic capital. You're my hero, Brad!
It's got potential. Great for dealing with AIs, now why would a human player ever use it in Human-to-Human interactions, other than to sic an AI attack dog on your friend, fun as that is?. If we can answer that question with mechanics, I think it'll really flesh out the diplo system.
