As far as Road Building, how in the heck do you guys have the patience to sit and click that button so many times? Is there an auto-RoadBuild that I'm not seeing? The only time I use a road is when they auto-connect my Outposts or Cities, otherwise, I just can't be bothered to micro-manage that much.

Escape scrolls have the wrong description. The scroll says it will teleport you to your capital city, but it only drops you where you were before attacking.
Works for me. I take that trait quite a bit. Standard response I'm afraid --- make sure running correct version, any mods? Sorry I can't help more.
Dang you and your awesome updates. Now I gotta start a new game. Such torture. But it's gotta be done.
Thanks for the reply, glad it is "working as designed". I can live with GFireflyE's explanation.
Maybe a slight problem with this mod, though I'm running a couple of other mods (CoS & Heroic Pursuits). Late in the game, at 800 fame, two heroes were presented to me and both were lvl 1. At the 400 fame mark, the hero I chose was of appropriate lvl, or at least not lvl 1. I'm thinking around lvl 5. Anyway, I've just updated all mods and going to start a new game and see if I can duplicate the problem.
+1 Seems obvious. I thought it was a bug in Beta that it wouldn't go directly to a city.
Parrot, do you have a "Donate Paypal" account or something? I swear you fix more errors than Stardock and I have always donated to modders once I settle into a game anyway.
A unit with no movement points will pop out with the "V" key, but will then be unable to go back into the city. Very disappointing to lose a city this way, but I chalk it up to one of the evils of war.
Caravans are a horribly, thought out design.
Can a quest be created that removes the xp penalty when two heroes are together? I don't mind the xp penalty for the most part, but it would be cool if I could complete a repeatable quest to "prove" the two heroes are compatible enough to fight together. Then again, I do like quests, so the more the merrier.
They improved upon this since Beta, but I like your suggestion. There must be some instance where this is a problem that they aren't telling us about.
My Ally in last game got wiped out by another faction and that was the first I had heard of them even being in a war.
240 hrs here Definitely my favorite game in many years.
I think he was talking about designing custom mage troops. I pick the Dodge vs Range since those guys seem to get targeted by AI arrows. Like you though, I can't decide if any of the other offensive traits even apply to mage damage. I suppose you could train two different mages and play around to see if one outdamages the other.

This MOD really lets you give some uniqueness to your Champions. Instead of sitting in a city, I am starting to want to lvl up new Champs. My playstyle will never let me MAX a Champ, but now I can have a lot more utility to the Champs I do have. Champion Bonanza was my favorite MOD and I hope this Heroic Traits makes those new Champs even better. I'm sure there are some unbalance issues with all of these new traits, but I could care less. Really lik
Yeah, I updated to COS1d and now I miss Duke.
Simple Business 101. Your first 3 employees are expensive to train because the owner has to do it. After that, you have those 3 employees train the 2 new guys, thus saving you resources by not having the owner do the training. Gosh guys, quit killing my winning strategies. Sadly, when doing more than 1 upgrade, I exploit the system by upgrading armor / weapons first and then upgrading the troop numbers, thus saving resources then also. I'm lame, but it gives me tha
This would explain why, in Beta, the AI used to always Web the crap out of every range unit I had.
I'll provide more info after I finish testing. Gave up on Tutorial and loaded coreQuests and going to start from there. And I probably have increased font.
Getting a lot of "Unhandled exception error popups". It does let me click "Continue" though. The UI has many fields that are blocked by the fields or buttons above them. Makes it a bit difficult to follow your tutorial, but I am creeping my way through. Leaving the EQM to scroll your tutorial PDF down another page on my other screen also causes the EQM to change many of the dropdown selections to revert to a default state. I'm guessing this is where I'm gonna end up wi
Auto-install didn't quite work. It did download and install Net4.5, but then just disappeared. I killed the process and reclicked on the same Setup.exe and the uber-awesome "Elemental Quest Master" popped up on the screen. Gonna play around with it this weekend. This might be one of the coolest ideas ever to add content to a game. Love quests!!!! Thanks and I'll let you know my experience with it.
Working very well from my point-of-view. I've been thru Beta and have played many games out to the finish with no troubles.
