This was confusing me also since I had just started a Resoln game. Kept reading on forums I could upgrade my Altars, but could not find the correct tech. Definitely needs to show on the Tech Tree, even if it causes duplicates in this Hiergamenon thingy. I would +1 anything that Parrott suggests though.
"Easter Eggs" in any game are always good. Now ya should add "Parrott Eggs"!
Was wondering about BloodCurse and how it worked when you remove the enchantment. The Sovereign is still unable to heal naturally or with "Regeneration" enchantment heals after BloodCurse is removed. Is this as designed?
I've seen several mistakes in game dialogue, but thought it would be just an annoyance to create an entire new thread for one or two simple oversights that really has no bearing on the game mechanics. I would guess you would receive many more text fixes if folks only needed to Quick Reply to an already existing thread.
I can explain it from the programmer's viewpoint. Text, help files, and instruction manuals are boring. Programmers do not find them interesting and therefore skimp on the "debugging" of simple English. It is many times the most tedious part of programming a finish product for the general public. With that said, any programmer would welcome a grammarian picking over their mistakes at this point in the Beta. These are simple fixes and gives you a sense of accomplishment to
Besides it "rooting" the enemy and Champ in place, it also stops any enemy range units from firing their weapons. Does make an easy way to stop those pesky archers, but is definitely a bug. Melee units can still attack the Champ, but don't leave the mud. edit: spelling
