Most RPG I've played were on console. Like Final Fantasy, Dragon Warrior, My favorite was Shinning in the Darkeness. These are all very very old. On the PC I remember playing Might and Magic, Baldurs gate, Final Fantasy 7 was on the PC too if I remember correctly. But once again very old games. IN recent times I do not recall any that were similar to the others I have mentioned.

In canada, especially in Quebec we are taxed when we sneeze so we are use to it. Welcome to the club. If you make more then 50K a year you pay the the crown 52% in imcometaxes. The you have the federal taxes and then you pay the provincial taxes on anything you buy. So when I buy a game say 40$ you have to add 14% in taxes. It's like that for everything here. Online purchases as well.
There is only one solution to prevent DRM in the future. It's actually very simple. Stop buying products that have them. There is only one way to make them feel their pain and that is through the bank account. It's the only way. You may not always play the games you would like but trust me in a few years if everybody does this there will never be another DRM. Of course this is just wishful thinking, but it's the only way to go. I'm doing it.

After doing more research on teh web it seems Fraps is my best bet. I do not know if any of you as ever used this program, here is what I want to do. I want to use my SNES emulator and I want to record myself playing a game. While playing that game I want to be able to hear the game music and sound and I want to be able to talk and record this talk as well. (I want to add my commentaries to the game while I am playing it.) Anybody knowif this is p

I now this will sound geeky but I can't help myself. I wanted to post a small movie a made from a game I played on youtube but it's not as good as I would like it to be quality wise. I'm wondering if anybody could give me a few pointers. If I am playing a game on the pc and I want to record what I do is there a way to do it with a program or is there something built in? Drm should not be the only thing that should be on the table during this town meeting. It's ok to protect IP, however at what cost. They should also discuss what a company is allowed to put as DRM. Giving you a limited amount of install should be banned. Or at the very least the rpice should be lower since you cannot install it whenever you want. I too got my very first laptop in september. It's a dell Studio 17 2.6 with 4 gig ram. It's really cool to be able to do my computing amnywhere I want. I just never counted on my girlfriend stealin g it from me so often LOL

Of course you can. I just got a dell Studio with 2.6 2 core duo with 6 meg cache and 4 gig ram and a radeon graphic card and it certainly kicks. A desktop will always be more powerful but I like having a pc that is portable. I can play most games. People who say you can,t are just purist.
