Subject says it all. My build and train buttons are greyed out and it says 'grip of winter disabled ... ' - It's been going on for several turns now. Game runs fine. It's mostly likely something with your system. Did you uninstall, clean up and reinstall the game?
The game fell out of sync; it's a major bug they're working on. The only way to fix it is to start a whole new game. Ironclad is trying to fix this bug; and they need help - you're supposed to send the logs from the game to their support people. I don't know the exact info, but if you look through these forums and those at www.sinsofasolarempire.com you'll see tons of messages about syncing/desyncing and instructions o
It happens during the game doesn't it? Usually that's a firewall problem.

I tried the uninstall and reinstall - game crashes constantly after loading a saved game. I have a good 10 mini-dumps (where are they located? I'll also send them). This really sucks; just got a friend to get the mini-expansion and now we can't play :(

A) Give us an option to tune down / tune up Pirates. Frankly, starting out and learning to play, the pirates take a LOT away from the game. Without Pirates; boring - with Pirates; too frustrating.
