In the game you have "GOLD" deposit instead of Gildar Deposit.

Segallion: Human warrior wanting to form his own mercenary band. Not for profit, but for his own sense of justice. Had a profound curse which essentially made his life work all but fail. He could get anyone to do what he wanted, but once they broke the charm they would forever react negatively to him from then on. Fought with a Bastard sword/shield and a heavy crossbow. Saw this article about AI at the 2010 GDC and was curious what to expect from the AI in Elemental? Any tidbits anyone would care to share? http://news.cnet.com/8301-27076_3-20000266-248.html?tag=mncol;txt
Since Stardock want a system where 32 players can play the same game, I guess some master system is required to determine who arrives the first on a given tile.
Why not use an initiative or speed option there. So if turns are happening at the same time and two units move to the same spot to say grab a goodie hut, then the one with the highest initiative gets the item regardless if it's the first one there or not.
Famous + Prestige Infamous - Prestige Eagle Eyes + vision range Blind as a bat - vision range Defensive + Defense Fool-Hardy - Defense can't think of a good name +1 extra item per mine/farm/orchard, etc. as above &nbs
Not related to sight after testing...scout had to bump up right next to a Apiary before it showed....
I think that it might be related to the sight skill (pair of eyes). My soveriegn they only show up when he's next to them, but my scout seems to pick them up from further away. I'll test this in a bit to see if that is accurate.
Nope it's not just you, I get that as well.
I love the organic suggestion where paths appear with caravans from one place to another. They may not take the best route available. With upgrades coming from technical or needing special materials (stone quary) But a possible tie in to the Governor options that was posted by Boogie could be added to the roads. A higher level of governor gives you more control over how the roads are around that particular town he/she is in. So a level 3 governor can go out and
"Our plan is that sovereigns do not die until their final city is taken UNLESS they are attacked (or attack) on land of the opposite arcane alignment (life/death magic influenced land). If you’re sending your sovereign into battle into the Fallen territory (or vice versa) and lose, it’s over but that’s a case of the player making a very deliberate decision/risk assessment. You cannot be assassinated. " Doesn't this sound like it should be the opp

The Spirit of Martek The spirit of Martek Mage Most Magnificent rises and requests that his remains be found and returned back to it's proper burial site. Failure results in the place becoming haunted, and slowly corrupting the land around it and releasing various undead around the area. Success grants the hero and/or Soverign a spell not normally available on his list. Other possible rewards. Location becomes a beneficial site, offering he
My assumption of the spell system is that we will get to choose ranks in various schools, similar to MOM and a few others. This gives the Sovereign some hard choices which is always a good thing. Do you go after one branch to get the higher level spells? </
As others have mentioned I love how this is starting to shape up. As an additional suggestion I'd like to see the History be chosen for you, where you have no choice in this as it is your history or how you were raised. However, faction should play some of a role here. For example, you take a faction known for Diplomacy, chances are that the histories tied to that have a better chance of appearing while the others less so. So Bard, Assassin, and Swindler might come u
Definately a good idea.
This has happened in everygame I've played thus far. Happesn for Soverign as well as any normal unit created.
Hmm, it doesn't seem to work for me. I create a new unit. Attempt to equip both the +5 to melee ring as well as the +20 hp ring, and one will overwrite the other. So is this working for some people?

IE, fire shards tend to be near hot locations like jungles and volcanoes, water shards tend to be near the ocean or rivers, earth shards near fertile land or mountains, and air shards near grasslands or high mountains. Something like that.
How about multiple locations. Fire Volcano, Desert type terrain Water is rivers or perhaps swamps, etc.
It appears you are only allowed one ring per unit. I'm thinking you should at least benefit from the possibility of 2 rings one per hand.

I also agree this would make a good feature. Segallion
