[.262][bug]Graphics not updating unit movements

Here are the steps to recreate this bug:

1) Give a unit a move order to any location.

2) Deselect the unit (anything works so far)

3) Move the screen so that the moving unit is not visible.

4) Advance turn.

The unit will move, but the graphical marker for the unit will not update. This results in the image shown where the position of my sovereign is different as indicated by the selection box than his figure representation. The system automatically updates if I advance turn again while having the moving unit on the screen or selected.

I've also come across this bug

This has happened in everygame I've played thus far.  Happesn for Soverign as well as any normal unit created.

Confirmed for me very annoying bug. You can actually play an old adventure style hunt and click game to find out where the miniature mouse over has moved from where its represented on screen.

Still present in .264

Confirmed.  Still present.

This is especially annoying when trying to deal with enemy units that appear to be in one place but are actually in another.

I haven't seen this consistently and it hasn't annoyed me enough to post to fogbugz, but I've definitely seen stuff along these lines in every beta build so far. It doesn't seem to appear until a game is a hundred or more turns along and/or I have more than 2-3 cities and units on the map.

I've reproduced the problem and am working on a solution now.  Thanks for reporting it, and for such helpful steps to reproduce the problem.

Good news.  I've fixed the problem in our internal build.  In the next beta release, the fix will be included.

Yaaah! I have been fighting this one as well.Quite frustrating indeed.

Luckily I have had a secondary distraction arrive on my PC But E:WoM is still tops... :)

CodeCritter check that code!

Problem persists in beta 1G. I can replicate it the exact same way.

Update with .291

My reproducibility of this bug has changed. I believe there are different steps for this bug now, I will continue trying to isolate them. Help from other testers in reproducing the steps is always appreciated :D

I can't offer repro steps, alas, but I can confirm at least two instances of the problem in .291. I have not seen it happen when my sovereign is my only unit, but I haven't gotten to play that much yet.

This might be another example:

My sovereign appears to be on the same tile as a wandering hero.  If I mouse over that tile, sometimes the tooltip shows me the hero, sometimes the sovereign.

In case it helps, here's a saved game.
