Crippling Lag in Twilight of the Arnor GalCiv2 Forums

When I first got the original GalCiv game, it played beautifully. It was agreat game overall, a little balance issues with the alignment thing, but overall it was good. Then DA came along and it was a much much better game. The lag was substantial but managable and still playable. And then when I got Twilight, my computer was brought to it's knees. Although it's still playable, the lag is terrible, even on the worst graphical setting. I know I have a crappy video card (intel integrated) but jez.

What would be a suitable video card for Twilight? in Game Talk GalCiv2 Forums

I'm debating with myself as to buy the game early or not, to see if I can actually handle the lag. When I first played with Gal Civ II there was no lag, no problem. As soon as Dark Avatar came out, when I zoom out or watch a battle, it's lag fest 2008. Now, I know I have a crappy video card. Extremely crappy. Integrated dell card, in fact. Well, this was in Gal Civ II with no expansions, A minor declared war on EVERYONE. Needless to say, it got completely crushed. Well, I guess not everyone, it declared war with one person, and we all had alliances with one another, so, yeah.

Personally, I have no idea if God exists or not. There's plenty of proof either way. Some days, I wake up and look over my city, and say: "There's gotta be something that ultimately controls all of this, there can't be that we started from a sludge pool" and then I realize we don't know everything yet. We need to know everything about everything before we say that somthing can't happen or can't exist.

Well, it works fine for me. Anyways, GP, there's another typo. Instead of "Intellectuals" it's "In?ellectuals" Very minor, but I'd thought I'd point it out anyways.

Alright, there is a major bug in this - the race pictures cannot be seen. They are invisible. You need to change the place to put them, and the ID's, because they will not be read by the game.

There are a surprising number of bugs in this, though nothing that can't be fixed easily. 1. Ecologists don't exist, and appear as Isolationists. 2. Social Darwinism it says "Social Darwinists believe that a sosiety(a with a thing on top)(Euro sign)(tm)s..." 3. Same as 1. but with Totalarians as Expansionists. I can post screen shots if requested.

If you would, please make a female, beautiful and suave alien (just change the colour of the her skin blue) with a small gold and red crown, jet-black hair down to her shoulders. As for her dress, make it ordinate red and gold, somthing like Leia's bikini, but a hell of a lot less skimpy. like a dress. I hope that's not too much trouble. I wouldn't even mind if it was just a picture. A movie would be a bonus.
