Sure, but it also doesn't do anything. The date is set. It can't be changed. I've got things I'm worried about too, but there's nothing anyone can do about the date. :P
you should understand most ppl here is not complaining cause they are jerks but cause we all want to improve this game and see it out the best he can, while sometimes you react to criticism like we are trying to sabotage the game
To be fair, "This game isn't going to be ready!!" isn't actually helping to improve the game. If you want to improve it, keep posting ideas and suggestions.

It's not a bad game if you like blending a card game and RTS. Similar to Magic The Gathering there are various Elemental nodes around the map, and you have to control them to power your cards. Some cards might need 4 of a specific type, some might need 2 specific and 2 any, and the basics just need 1 or 2 total. It's a pretty intuitive system. The PvE aspect was pretty fleshed out, last I played (before it went free-to-play, so it's been a while), and some maps require co-op play. They're gen
Only the innocent and the daft will get hurt by this new witch hunt.
How can an innocent get hurt by this? Presumably, just about the only way you'd get sued is if they tracked your IP over a P2P network and found out it's you seeding or downloading something - which kind of goes against "innocent".

Aaaand, map generation is also mostly not there. We have very few map seeds to work with (they're using them to guarantee better maps, instead of all-random), and a bunch of things are still hardcoded, like 40 goodie huts per map regardless of size.

Yeah, the problems start when they make that mandatory. I don't think they're insane, though. Unless RealID somehow proves to be more popular than the regular old friend system, I would be very surprised if Blizzard transitions to RealID-only. That said, I wouldn't quite compare it to Facebook's stance on privacy. After all, the only thing RealID does is just show your real name everywhere, Facebook does a lot more.
That being said, I'd certainly be happy if I could make a Mongolian-type horsemen faction, or a faction of Tribal Forest Dwellers...but I won't count on it.
I'm really pretty sure you could. Heck, Frogboy posted a video of him modding in a unique resource tile to Fallen that allows them to recruit Ogres. You can certainly make unique stuff for a Horsemen faction, and likely Tribal Forest Dwellers though it's less obvious where you want to go with that ;)

Except Dragon Age didn't fail, and didn't come anywhere close to. It was hugely successful. Doesn't mean everyone liked it, but hey, GTA 4 is hugely successful and I can't stand it - doesn't make it fail. And yep, I loved Dragon Age.

I can see that being a big issue, but one that doesn't affect me since I don't post on Blizzard boards because it's just a clown zoo. But that's Blizzard's thoughts that forcing RealID on the forums is a good idea that's the issue, not RealID itself. Personally, seeing the kind of crap that goes on the WoW (and SC2 beta) forums, I can't say I blame them for trying to do this. It's like a raging forest fire that only grows and grows.
Now THAT is a Well Informed Article. Thank You for finding that m'lady, well done. "Consumers may use pirated goods to 'sample' music, movies, software, or electronic games before purchasing legitimate copies," the GAO continued. "(This) may lead to increased sales of legitimate goods."
An article that is well informed would have numbers backing it up. That whole article isn't defending piracy, it's just saying that it's difficult to say exactly how bad it is

I have no problem with a measured and gradual expansion of your empire, allowing for lots of cities and vast empires on the really big maps. "City Spam" refers to just placing a lot of cities very quickly. It's kind of meaningless to have a vast
That's not really what it did. You were eligible for the discount if you: a ) clicked the "join army" button on the website, and b ) didn't already buy the game Note that "spread word about the game" isn't on that list. You didn't have to do anything related to that to get the discount. What I've learned from this is that the next time Stardock sells a game that I shouldn't pre-order it until it goes on sale. I've never heard of games going o

The Army is their way of spreading word about the game, which results in potentially more sales. I don't see anything wrong with them rewarding people who spend time (and in some cases their own money) to promote Elemental around the internet and the Real World.

Well, like I've been saying since the beginning, I have no problem with powerful champions, but how powerful they are has to be balanced against how many of them you can have, as well as the (admittedly dreaded) army limits. You can't just say "Imbued champions should be Sauron-like!" with no consideration for the fact that if you can get a bunch of those into the same army, no limited mundane army can ever kill them and if the other player doesn't have his own army of super-champions then he
