One of the more interesting things I noticed today was when the Troll (Monster Faction) attacked the Pack of Naja(Monster Faction) and got pawned. I have not noticed the monsters doing this before. Not since War of Magic anyways. Nice.

thank you. funny how the game will pick up some modded xmls in the my documents and not others, and then on others read them twice. sigh.
Growing tired of reloading the game until I saw 3rd book in the tech tree; I took the Techs_Amarian.xml and copied it from C:\Program Files (x86)\Stardock Games\FallenEnchantress\data\English\Only-SP to C:\Users\Sean\Documents\My Games\FallenEnchantress\Mods\Data\English\Only-SP and then modded it to set all the random techs (magic books, king of the wild and 3rd book) to 100%appearance/rarity. For some reason it didn't change the chance of appearance but I know
It took me a while but I finally figured it out. There is a way to create more then 1 '1 per faction' buildings. Assuming you've already built 1, go conquer a city of an opponent that has the building already built. If you raze that city, the game recognizes that you razed that building and will let you build it again. I don't know what the code looks like internally for this, but it strikes me as a boolean instead of
Yup, the Blue Halo'd city above the Imperium is within 8 tiles of the 4/4 spot in the Imperium, thus not allowing it to be used. If you raze that city, your tile will be available.
In the Imperium, there is a single 4/4 tile that can be settled, and can be settled without killing everything in there.
I think the Knights of Asok are perfect the way they are except for a major bug with their lair. They are the only lair that I have seen that if you move onto it without owning it, it pops up a dialogue where the knights promise not to raze your property and reign in their wandering knights. Problem is they LIE! They smoked my town about 3 turns later. If they actually do what the dialogue says, then it wouldn't be an iss
I ran into two bugs recently in the AI, and I can provide a save game that covers both at the same time if you wish. #1. If a sovereign has lost his last city but is still alive, but cannot see anywhere inside the FOW to found a city at, he will stand still instead of explore for a spot. #2. The Dark gate is a Sovereign Trap. Late in the game, a custom sovereign is sitting on the Dark Gate quest trigger, unmoving, and all the other AI sovere
Quest locations can be spawned on top of the walls of the ruined Imperium. Players cannot move their avatars onto those spaces. nuff said
Might be intentional, but it's better to mention it then not. My kingdom Sov. ground down an Empire Sov. and got him to capitulate to me. Cool. I was looking at the Sov and then it struck me... hey.. hes got Death Magic! Now thats not the surprising part (although I don't have any death shards to power the spells.....) The surprising part is that I cast Steal Soul on him and my Sov gained Death. Now thats cool. My Sov has every element now
Combining the life/death shards to be a single shard has an issue. Currenty it's possible to have a Sovergn gain both life and death magic. The combined shard would power both types of spells then.
I updated to 0.912.051 last night. Before update, the game loaded fine. After update it always crashes when loading. Maybe I'm just outdating myself, but in my younger days when I said "It's going to be tight", that meant something was going to be kick ass. "Dude, that car is tight!" Of course I'm 36 so it's possible that most of the forum junkies are to young to have heard it that way.
This has been a fun thread. To be honest I was rather bored reading it, but then ddd888 started trolling folks and really livened it up! I actually skipped everyone else's responses, just to read his posts. I wanted to see how many times he could insult others and impose hypocrisy (do as I say, not as I do). I think I lost count! As much as we all rail against trolling, every once in a while it's slightly humorous to see one and how many people actually r
Forsaken Martyr attack animation causes a 100% repeateable crash. I've got an nVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 video card, a i7 processor, and 6 gigs of memory, so I'm pretty sure I got the hardware to handle it. debug.err: http://pastebin.com/ADCw31xe Save Game: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/59752692/sean.EleSav
