Add a popup over the buildings in the building screen that states at your current social rating how long it would take you to build this building, sort of like the popup on the weekly budget when you move your cursor over the bank.
Seilore
How is it a bug that when nothing is being built and therefore it isn't telling you a build time because as of that moment there will never be anything completed because your not building anything. When you select to build something then it will give you a build time and so on however you have it selected. If you see that you have a few quick things on the que that is only going to take a few weeks behind something that will take 40 weeks you can move it ahead of it in the build que.
check above, Hawawaa... see if that works, that was in response to an e-mail I got from codecritter regaurding my post on this via link [link="https://forums.galciv2.com/?forumid=421&aid=166576#1378517"]Invisible / Distorted Ships TABeta1 1.8c/ and TABeta 2 (UPDATED POST)[/link]
Dear Seilore, I received your last message. Unfortunately, I tried playing as Torians with Terran ship style and was unable to reproduce the problem. Is this something that h
The first error that I have noticed is a very occational one where the loading picture seems to be distorted with a blue screen overlayed on the picture. You can see this shown below. The second error that I have found which I believe used to be present in an earlier beta is that Warp IV seems to be available right away or very early with the Korath. As soon as I met them they had this tech and d
My invisible ships seemed to be fixed when I was told to del or rename my GC2TwilightArnor folder in my documents. Then when you restart the game it resets everything to the origional settings and the game creates a new folder. Since I've done this I've had no problem with invisible ships, however, I admidt I haven't been able to play as much lately do to an icreased busy schedule. This, however, did not solve the problem in games that I had started in the origional folder and then tried to m
Zenicetus- I agree mainly with you in my stand point with the exception with the game as far as scoring, if the game would not be changed to help the good choices I would hope that if one would choose the good path from the begining, not with xeno ethics they should get a score boost to compensate them for taking the high ground or the more difficult choice. If you take it with xeno ethics I think you should still get a boost just not as much as one would see choosing and sticking with
Question, I thought I saw somewhere that with the Iconians having precursor technology that they wouldn't be able to trade this technology being they don't fully understand it. Was I dreaming I can't find this mentioned anywhere? Because if this was true I was going to ask why I am trading the Iconians for what appears to be precursor technology so I thought this was an error.
I posted this in the TA suggestions as well but, with so many posts I didn't know how much it would be seen and I feel this is an issue to those of us who like to play on the good side of things. I would like others to respond to this on their feelings on this subject weather they agree with me or disagree and why. Thank you. Make it better to be good, good doesn't always mean handicaped. It seems like more of a challenge to be good, it is my suggestion to
Make it better to be good, good doesn't always mean handicaped. It seems like more of a challenge to be good, it is my suggestion to either give a scoring bonus to those who choose good or make it better ingame to be good, give more good bonus's and things like that. I mean you look at the top 6 characters on the metaverse and all six are very evil, doesn't that show something, you look at the top 10 characters and out of those 10 they are all very evil with
No it reappeared upon reload.
Here is a picture in my current game where my survey ship is headed for an anomolie, that is invissible. This anomolie is there. here is a picture.
I just started a new game when my survey ship was next to an astroid field. I selected auto survey, and it went right into the astroid field headed for an anomoly about 5 squares directly on the opposite side of the astroid field.
okay that answers my first question, and I should have figured that out and I apologize for that, but what about my second question?
First off sorry if I'm just wrong with me trying to figure this out below are two pictures from my game the first showing how influence is calculated according to the popup. It shows a total of 80ip of which "25 is from the planet + 4 from population + 45 from improvements / misc. + 0 from my influence ability + 6 from my civilization = 80. My question is in the next picture it shows civ capitol gives a 50% influence bonus, the Innovation Complex gives a 50% influence bonus, plus the 1
sorry didn't see this, it wasn't listed in the pinned posts just on that other post and I just missed it. plus I thought there has been an update since that post.
Below is an error I just found while playing my new game I just started tonight after I upgraded to the most recent Beta patch. Below is a picture where I'm attempting to trade Dark Yor for Techs, however, the first tech on the menu is blank and I have no idea what it was. This other picture shows the image after I had it listed in the trade menu as the tech icon with a blank tech. CodeCritter- I did what you suggested with renaming my folder via e-mail and so far the new game I started with the Terrans is okay however, usually this doesn't start until I'm well into the game.
This was still prevalent in TABeta2b using the saved game from when I started in TABeta2a. Here is a new screenshot. I will start a new game later playing as the Terrans again in TABeta2B to see if this is still there in my new games with the latest patch.
I see and replied

yes, and in all new games as well.
So is TABeta 2A making it out today or will it be tomorrow either way is okay for me it's worth the wait . Thanks for your response.
I completely understand the whole stopping the production of improvements your don't have the tech for. As after you concur a planet, the plans aren't going to be stored in a nice little box. However, already built improvements should not be destroyed, but be maybe halfed. Which makes sense as you would not have the running instructions. Then at least they are there, and the planet is not thrown back to the stone age, but you will probably want to build over them.
I thin
Change and lower the current tourism income but instead add economic bonus tiles simular to the already influence, research, food, industrial. Right now that is the only building without a tile bonus why not add it??
I would imagine that the Indestructible tag on most Achievements would prevent this. Another question, however: Will this also apply to improvements being upgraded into improvements you don't have? I ask because I have for a while considered it a useful strategy when the Dread Lords appear to let them take over one of my planets, then take it back in a turn or two when everything is in the process of being made into Industrial Sectors, thus allowing me to get Industrial Sectors l
