Installing Steam on work pc to activate my founders copy...Stardock are you hiring still? I think I'm going to be out of a job in a few minutes lol. #soexcited
So am I first to join the founder club?
It's getting prettier since I last checked. The graphics appear to have uploaded.

So today we "Happy Campers" wait for Stardock to "squeeze the juice". Hopefully we are not "silly cows" on these forums. PS OK OK I'm pretty sure I butchered ORZ I played it when I was little ok :D
Try uninstalling the updates that were installed 2 weeks ago. This may have nothing to do with the NVidia drivers or card. Once you identify which update is causing the problem you can then determine how to best handle it.
Try turning off any mods or extra graphic settings. The problem could just be with 1 of the graphical features that your drivers do not support. Just looking at the specs on the error logs you should have a good enough system for Windows 7. You don't need 16gb of ram and SSD. You can always add to your system as money becomes available. You also don't need to spend a ton of money installing Windows 7. I don't know your financial situation but Windows 7
Quoting Neil Banfield, reply 13Could it be the hardware itself is developing a fault? Is it running unusually hot? It would be highly coicidental for FE:LH to be the only game that has just recently pushed my GPU over the edge. I run Dragon Age: Origins with 56gigs of graphics mods with no problem... edit: just downloaded TechPowerUp GPU-Z Have a PCB temp of 56 C
You should really consider updating your OS. Your bottlenecking your system by sticking with XP with the specs you posted earlier.
I'd like to see multishot. 25% (or 50%) damage to all enemies on screen.
It's still October [e digicons][/e]
The problem is likely XP. Many companies are no longer testing their drivers or software with XP because Windows XP is EOL on April 4, 2014. This could explain why your older drivers work but not the newer drivers.
The UI has bothered me for quite a while. However, until now I havent stopped to think what was the problem. Here is a few ideas I have in no particular order. TOO MUCH CLUTTER The Sins of the Solar empire unit display is growing on me. However, it also clogs up a ton of screen real estate. I think a few right click menu options to allow you to configure this on the fly would help. Such as being able to turn off one of the
Haha I'm with you all. A thread titled ignore is just like a giant red button. Can't resist.
Quoting Daiwa, reply 4I've read that keeping a laptop plugged in all the time & not letting the battery discharge at least occasionally will decrease both battery time-to-recharge and overall battery life. This will apply to nickel-cadmium batteries, not to lithium ion.
Haha thanks
There is a limit on how many times you can charge it. Ideally you want to fully discharge the battery (let your device die or 1%) then fully charge it for maximum battery life. Also not tablet related but Apple had reports of some of their iPhones 6s fatally electrocuting people...
Unity is free is you are self publishing or a very small company. At least to my interpretation of the EULA. ( http://unity3d.com/company/legal/eula , if anyone knows legal speak input is welcome.) I'm currently building a 4x game...err prototype. It's more of a experiment in world generation and city management type game while I go to school for game design.
What NVidia card do you have? I have dual gfx cards on my laptop and it runs just fine. I have Nvidia 630m and some sort of intel card NX4000 (or whatever)
I told my wife she should prob divorce me if she wants to be rich after seeing all the games coming out. Warlock 2, Age of Wonders 2, XCOM Enemy Within, all the stuff Stardock is holding back from us, ...
Umm update your drivers, make sure directx is updated to the newest version and don't alt tab the moment you launch the game. I've seen this when I'm trying to multi task like crazy. Havent seen it for this game specifically.
You can also just type msconfig in the run or search box and disable it that way.
Actually I would like to disable "Conquest" as an option to win the game. So if it would be possible to just have full ability to customize the winning possibilities I would be pleased. Currently not being able to outrule Conquest makes me not want to play Oh I also would like a mode where only I am in the game, without AI. That would of course mean that Conquest would have to be disabled. That way
Eh, anything the AI builds is one less thing I build because if I want it I'm going to take it.
This is a great story related a boxers approach to this very same situation. It cracks me up everytime. http://www.theguardian.com/sport/2013/mar/12/english-boxer-curtis-woodhouse-twitter-troll
