That would be an incorrect assumption Teambo100. FPS games as a whole are far less processor intensive than the average 4X Strategy game. Even 64 human players would use less processing power than 5 AI controlled opponents.

Argh, started a budget with my wife just before this came out.
I haven't had too many problems. The undead units are pretty strong. Especially the banshees (female dead). Taking 50% less damage, wage-free troops, and the terror ability the dead is very strong in combat. Also, you can churn out a ton of weak skeleton units and beat down enemies in a battle of attrition. Considering you aren't going to have a level 2 city for a little bit you should make a pioneer as soon as you find a good second city location. After a few battles wi

Yes it works...takes longer if you forget to enable mods [e digicons]:(O[/e] I put an XML with the corrections. This should fix the horse bug. https://www.dropbox.com/s/ilar5kohktsgcnz/DLC04_MountsUpdated.xml Drop that into the mod folder and enable mods. Once Stardock fixes the error just delete that file.
Instead of reducing initiative I was thinking of increasing the damage, creating a piercing attack (hit 1 or more units in a line) with xbows. and a Multishot attack with bows. If I reduce the initiative penalty I think the the abilities I planned would be too powerful.
Ah, let me try the fix. I was just checking the warhorse. Shouldnt take long.
BTW no skeletal wargs. There is a bunch of new spells from the grave touched talent, undead horses, skeleton and banshee units.
Yes, if you have Legacy of Serrane you still get the warhorse.
It shouldn't the DLC04Mounts.XML doesnt mention the warhorse. I'm going to test this now.

This is the new DLCs basic horse code. RestrictedAbilityBonusOption DLC04_UndeadFaction Player Is the problem because the rest of it missing or because the internal name matches does it allow you to append attributes on another item.
What faction are you playing?
Most of these suggestions are based on lack of information on the details of your setup, hardware is only one component. Razor also bought out Game Booster that turns off the extra crap on your system when you are gaming and then turns it back on when you are done. Check it out. Out of the box (it's free btw) it should increase your performance without having to tinker with it much. Advanced users can make their systems sing....then again they probably don't need game booster if
Try enabling fullscreen and or turning off aero. Fullscreen has a few other problems, don't tab out much, but it should be a performance increase. To enable fullscreen you have to find the preferences.ini (or a related name) file in the My Documents folder. I have turned this on to increase performance. You might receive Invalid DX call errors if you tab out. I don't think Stardock fully supports fullscreen mode. Pretty sure it's not in the regular options because of problems
So win is Stardock's second iOS game GalCiv coming out, this is not an announcement just a wish, I want the AI to melt my iPad.
No one said FE doesnt run on laptops. I have been testing various peoples saved games from my laptop and desktop. I think we all agreed the hardware is fine. That being said just because it's not hardware does not mean it's the game either. [quote who="teambo100" reply="20" id="3413214"] pretty sure you're reading a little too far into this. i actually jumped ship from AMD. The GT740m first of all has more memory than the 5770hd, and as performance isn't really that far behind. It's also not the brand new flashy thing, its based on a chip that's already been around for a while now. It's not my fault that this game won't run properly for buying a new laptop, it's pretty clear that something is wr
Ah, ok. my mausoleum popped the next turn so I didnt notice.

If you create a Kingdom of the Dead you will have human peasants. My original post was not to bash Stardock in saying this is broken. It was a "it would be nice if we can have this"
