I bought an Alienware Aurora about 3 Months ago, and wrestled with the same things people have stated here before doing it. PROS: 1 YR Financing, No Interest: Seems lame, but for me, let me get more PC without the hassle. Make SURE you pay it off before 1 YR though, or all the interest comes due from day 1. Sales: I was in no hurry when I bought my PC, and so I watched online by Googling "Dell Coupons" to make sure I got every last obscure coupon

I am half Polish, half Hillbilly. I am going to wait until the Hillbillies review this game before I pass Judgement.
What gets me is I paid 10$ extra for shipping. For this I have no tracking number, no confirmation, no package, and I was charged promptly (and months ago). Why not, at a minimum, ship via UPS so we can track our own progress? Whatever, at this point I am done with Stardock.
The link below is the link to the Stardock trailer I got when I followed the link to "Discover the latest trailer here" http://www.screencast.com/users/draginol/folders/Jing/media/1b9fabcf-bcf8-4aab-b9b4-1ab9f357496d Why have no sound, no narration, no music, nothing? The camera seems to pause on some places, as if there was...... something? I tried it w
Not to mention I was wrong in saying it was $70, it was $69.95 plus $10 for shipping and handling. Though I am pretty sure I was the one who got "handled".
Since it had been some time since my Pre-Order (and Payment) I clicked Purchase on the button at the top of this page. Followed it through to the Cart and got this, and will quote it here: Download only items: No Shipping Charges Retail Game Boxes: US: USPS Priority Mail - $10-$15 International: USPS First Class - $20-25 Desktop Enhancement CDs: US: USPS Priority Mail - $5-$7<

Also 30mins away (Walled Lake, MI). Pretty much WTF at this point. I want to be strong and zen-like, get my game and shut up til it is fixed, but this is insulting. Pretty much the only thing that can turn me off to a game is being insulted. &nbs
THE THRUTH IS Brad made Elemental alone in his spare time with nothing more then a C64 and a 1997 SQL for Dummies book! He can't lay off any of the Elemental team because they are the voices in his head (he has tried!!). Brad HAS TO take the blame because as he said out of context one time on another board, and I quoth: "Step on a crack and BREAK YOUR MOMMA's BACK!" I wonder... 1) Did you just wake up on the wrong side of the bed? 2) Did you stay awake all night furiously thinking up this post? 3) Did you buy a game or two that you should have researched a bit more before buying? Personally, I think (3) is your problem. I believe it is Buyer Beware when it comes to software/games. What you want a game to be, and what the game is, is often two worlds apart. Hell, if I wrote
1. The Magic System - In it's current state, it is truly pointless. There isn't any variation within the different spheres, and all spells are basically direct damage. SOLUTION - Elemental Dev Team go play Age of Wonders 2 and Age of Wonders : Shadow Magic. Learn what it is to have a dynamic and exciting magic system, one that actually has buffs/debuffs that matter and more varierty (overland spells / tactical spells / summons / buffs / strategic).

I've had to let go many people over the years and as anyone who has ever been in that position can tell you, there is a world of difference between terminating someone and laying them off. With all due respect, Frogboy, this is a bad time to try and use flowery language. Sadly, there is not a "world of difference" - the bottom line is those people are out of a job. The only diff
Just north of Novi, MI. I am guessing it will come tomorrow (Or Tuesday) based on the fact sales told me it shipped on the 28th.
And let's add Stardock's CodeCritter to the Honor roster. He, also, is active in the evening. I have a ATI videocard, and I've updated its drivers to the very recent 10.8 version. Updating them is very good advice, indeed. (By the way, my series 5000 ATI card has never experienced any graphical problem with Elemental.) You can get the most recent ATI drivers here : http://sites.amd.com/us/game
Temparr, Your video drivers are a few months old ( Apr 6, 2010 ). Please update to the newest driver. Some people have had issues starting up the game when the ATI Catalyst Control Center (ATI tray tools) was running. Please try closing that if updating the drivers does not help the problem. No doubt! I don't expect to hear anything back til maybe tomorrow - so don't work to late Stardockers , it's almost midnight here in Michigan! [e digicons]:moon:[/e]
Ok, here is what you were looking for: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/9865752/Elemental/DxDiag.txt http://dl.dropbox.com/u/9865752/Elemental/debug.err And there was no 'zip' file, but these have the extension .dmp so adding them just in case: <a href="http://dl.dropbox.com/u/9865752/Elemental/Elemental1_07-2010-09-02T22-49
Hi Guys, As the title says, I patched to 1.07, and now my game is back to CTD after attempting to start E:WOM. I did have this problem in beta 3 and beta 4. And did post about it. In the end, I decided to ride it out and see if it was fixed at launch. It was. I had no problem launching any of the patches since release - until now. I did the obvious, a reboot. But nothing has changed on my PC since I last was able to run E:WOM to now, excep
I am doing Civ4:BOTS with Fall from Heaven 2.
Cool, thanks guys, I will write the sales dept.
It just dawned on me, I was waiting for my LE edition, but it has never come. Add to that, I live like 20mins from Stardock here in Michigan, and I should have been one of the first people to receive it. Anyone else get theirs yet?
I agree, Digital Distribution OR Amazon.com for me. Even the once mighty Best Buy has fallen by the way-side.
I can't wait for a big old box of tools to mod the snot out of Elemental. And games for Stardock have been like Babies. Everyone loves a newborn baby, but as awesome as a new baby is, they only get better and better. GalCiv2 is pretty much an adult now, in my metaphor. If you only like fully grown games (and be late to the party, more like as not) then I say give it 2 years. Me? I don't mind of Baby Elemental pukes on me a lil bit, it is
