Excellent! More quality games to waste my money and time on. No greater calling. Brad you've done the right thing, a good capability build with the right talent acquisition as any business manager will tell you, tech and process can be replicated and will be, people can't be. Sounds like you have a good creativity fostering culture as well. I would love a Stardock developed SOTS2 type game with strat and tactical (MOO3 as

Now that LH has been released and what a great game it is I was hoping you guys might have a tentative roadmap for it? Will development on LH continue or are efforts being rolled onto a 'secret project'? It might be too early for this post [e digicons]:D[/e]

Thanks for the replies, I think with the art style of elemental and the elemental nature of the lore and universe that a Druid hero would fit perfectly. I was thinking the Druid can have a few lines of specialization to go down as per some of the other heroes 1. Shapeshifting abilities to make the Druid a powerhouse in melee 2. Elemental and Animal Summoning abilities to supplement armies

How can one, in a world such as 'Elemental' not have a Druid hero, I ask you this? Meditate, reflect on this you must.

Two things: 1. Diplomacy is the Achilles Heel of this game - GC2 was a masterpiece that may not be replicated in any game any time soon. In fact the AI in that game was a work of art. 2. DRUID HERO!

Good post. Again, I think the development team made a mistake not using traditional fantasy races. The lack of differentiation really shows, with all races playing similarly and no real unit differentiation. It's my biggest gripe with LH - that and NO DRUID HERO

It's a good game, tactical combat is it's strength and is a lot superior to FH. It does lack the depth in empire building though of FH, it's more like a deeper challenging HoMM.

I support this unit upgrade path change, good work Derek. I think it's a great improvement that takes away some of the boring micro re-design. I also like how you focus on fun rather than realism. This is what gaming is all about and keeps you coming back to the fun game. If people want realism, make a mod for it. As for realism, I dare say not many of us play battlefield in real life, nor want to. I certainly wouldn&#3

I support this, I would rather have a larger choice of heroes. Suggestion is that if you don't pick a hero, each season or year, two new random heroes appear based on current fame This way you can hold out, but it does cost the player something!

Hello I've been loving the game and as some have suggested there are too many warrior type heroes. I would love to see a Druid type hero. I think this goes well with the elemental lore and the restoration of the land. Basically the Druid could be/have as abilities is: - - Protector and Rejuvinator of the land with spells to restore and transform things - which are already in place in the game - Elemen

I think having two mage classes is a good idea. Personally I would go with your classic Mage and also a Druid Mage: - Summoning (non elementals), Magic damage spells (non elemental), Dispels, etc Druid: - Protector and rejuvinator of the land, elemental damage spells and elemental summons, charm monsters, perhaps even SHAPECHANGE! Also cool spells like imprisonment where an enemy unit is im

I think 1 is key this will solve issues for both the player and the AI, although as suggested before probably good giving outposts to the scout, although I do like the sound of an engineer!

I think both these areas are the Achilles heel of LH. I would love to see both be up to the par of GalCiv2. Diplomacy, especially the espionage was fantastic as well as the galactic council. All very well thought out and I definately could not be lax at all.
