So, I was a little overeager trying to get something to finish researching and while clicking constantly on the end turn button while the game was doing all it's end turn stuff it crashed to desktop. I don't see a bug thread or anything so I figured I'd post it here.
Nvm, please delete thread.
I have not had one mini-dump since it came out of beta, sucks to be you I suppose.
Oh, I sort of figured they did that on purpose.
I was playing Implosion against 4 normal AIs and it was very late game. I killed one AI, and the others AIs killed another. I was systematically taking their planets when they apparently joined forces (I had allies turned off, and it was FFA) and attacked me on either side of my empire while I was attacking one each of their planets. I had also placed a starbase near a wormhole and it was also being attacked. I was luckily playing Vasari and was able to use my phase gates to q
Oh my god. I thought I'd heard the end of the phase-jumping starbases.

[quote who="gotyaoi" reply="2" id="2083802"]As to your first suggestion, The Vasari already have the phase gate technology. This allows them transportation without phase lanes. I'd imaging that such advances are beyond the means of the TEC and Advent. And destroying them? Aside from in game justifications against such a thing, of which I could imagine many, from a balance perspective, it doesn't add up. What's to stop you from doing utterly broken things, removing all but one, or even all lan

I was thinking this would be a good way to deal with the issue of mines (which I think are still waay to annoying). And if not destroy them, maybe permanantly keep them in real space.
I would like a way to create and destroy phase lanes. If anyone ever played Space Empires there is a way to create warp points to each system, I think it would be cool to include that in Sins. It would be "slow building" so it would take like 5 mins for it to destablize a phase lane after it was activated. Same thing with creating one. Also, some sort of phase lane weapon would be nice. A late game tech that could send "shockwaves" through phase space while say a large enemy fleet was

Yeah, it turns out it was something on their end they had to fix.
I've been having trouble updating too: https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/341214 As for the serial, have you tried clicking the my account button on the forum, there is a registration tab. It has all my serials on there.
I was reinstalling my Sins/Entrenchment to get a fresh install after Trenchment 1.0 came out and I'm now getting an inactive registration error. I sent an e-mail off to support@stardock, I was just wondering if anyone else had this problem.
i'm pretty sure they said they disabled auto-cast for the mine laying for now.
Most likely. I bought CDs for the other games I got via impulse.
When you open a map in galaxy forge click on the blace space and then look for an item called for the line labled "artifact density" under the galaxy heading. You can set it from 0-100% meaning that every planet will have an artifact at 100% and half will at 50%. Granted, setting it to 100 and then having like 50 planets will give you alot of artifact doubles.
You can set how many there are, but you can set the precent chance of finding one.
As long as we aren't told where the super-weapon is I'm agreed. Atleast tell me when a weapon has impacted a planet. Advent shot my planet with their superweapon and I didn't notice till I lost it due to culture.
I was thinking that instead of having mines in the grav wells all around the incoming phase areas (which is where most people have been putting them), maybe it would just be better to have mines along the phase lanes themselves. I'll explain more: They would be buildable from the Logistics menu and it would say something like "Mine Planetary Phase Lanes." Depending on how many phase lanes to the planet there are you could upgrade them that many times, ie: 3 lanes from the plan
Yup, it's a known bug. :)
