Ok, I finally gave Master of Magic a try from GOG.com, and I'm impressed. Of course, the graphics are oooold, but I remember Civ (1), so I can withstand them ;)

Soo..... how is everyone killing the time until the big release? I have BETA 0.98, and so I've a good idea of how awesome Elemental has been shaping up, but I'm really eager for the 1.0v release as the technical side of BETA 0.98 is abit of a hog, plus the pop up prompt describes GUI and feature goodies in 1.0... Anyway, how are you killing the time? And is there a way to get 1.0 early?

Hi; I posted a few months ago asking about how if I bought early, would I get into the beta - and from what I got back, I knew at the time it was more alpha than beta version, and feature incomplete, not to mention unbalanced and all that, heh. So, a couple of months have pasted and I was wondering what the current status of the game is, and, more from the beta players, is it any fun yet? [e digicons]^_^[/e]

I've watched quite a few episodes so far (I live in the UK and haven't see the whole series yet), and I like it somewhat, BUT the problem I have with it is its too focused on personal relations and there is just too much contact interaction with the civilian people back on Earth for my liking. I tune into stargate for sci, adventure, and humour, not for drama.

Hi folks; I'm a fan of Stardock games, and this one looks right up my alley. I was going to preorder it next month, but if I pre-order it, do I get access to the beta instantly? If so, I'll probably order straight away. From what I understand, its a cross between Civilization and a fantasty RPG...?
