Registration issues

No elemental in "Registrations" despite beta tester

So in anticipating the coming of our Elemental Overlords, I'm checking through my mail and see that I ordered the game in september last year, I've played the beta from the very first one. But I can't see any Elemental: War of Magic in the "Registrations" in the impulse application, is this normal? can anybody else who participated in the beta confirm that they don't have the game in registrations either?

Tell me how to view my registrations and I'll let you know.

When you start impulse click the drop down menu "blue tab" then click "register a product" then the list of all your registered impulse/stardock software comes up.

Cheers!

This is what I got on 17. sep. 2009 21.55 So I bought the game almost after it was available for preorder :) so if my registration info somehow disappeared then I'd be a bit sad :(

Thank you for your order from Stardock.  This email contains the serial number(s) for the software you have ordered and serves as your receipt.

Please print a hard copy of this information and store it in a safe place as you may need it for future installations and/or upgrades.

See this message and this thread.  Basically, keys have been temporarily disabled while they prepare the release (because I think they used the same storage for the latest internal version as the public betas, and they temporarily disabled the registration keys so the internal pre-release did not become publically available).

Best regards,
Steven.

Well, I've checked mine and though I do have a registration for Elemental, it says my reg is 'Invalid' still. Hopefully, its just the system's way of stopping me from updating early, but we'll see.

This is normal, all beta key have been disabled until the game is released (today for beta testers)

Yup, same for me. No email associated to it either for some reason, but I can see my key and it's marked as invalid.

I am sure this has been asked before but do we need to uninstall the beta or should we just leave it as is and just do an install when the game shows up?

Well I hope thats just that then, I can't even see a key though, do you still have the beta installed? I reinstalled my OS and thus impulse.

Oh dear. Well, I definitely pre-ordered, and I was not in the beta. When I choose Blue Menu, Register Product, all I see is my galciv games - no Elemental.

Is it only beta people who have the game in their Impulse, or are us regular pre-order people supposed to have it too?

I'm going to be rather sad if I have to wrestle with sales/support, because I wouldn't expect much help to be available on Sunday...

Hmm, I pre ordered on august 8 and didn't recieve an email containing a key and neither can I see the game under registrations.

I did get an email when I ordered saying they got my order.

Should I be worried?

EDIT:I was not in beta, in case it matters somehow.

It seems that most/all people who pre-ordered after beta don't have it in Impulse, so I wouldn't worry about it. I trust they know what they're doing.

I'm not generally a trusting soul... but I hope you are right, and somewhat heartened to hear I'm not the only one in this situation.

So it seems serials were inside the confirmation emails after preordering. Too bad I never got one of those :- / (and yes, I checked my spam folder, multiple times). I guess I'll have to wait until the customer support opens shop again on Monday morning.

I said in another thread, might as well say here. I preordered the game after the beta, I did not receive any confirmation email or serial so far. So I contacted [email protected] and I received a response telling me that they have my preorder in their registry or logs or something ( Forgot exact wording ). They said I'll receive an email with the serial as soon as the product is available and that is also the time when my card will be charged. So it seems there's nothing to worry about. I'm feeling a bit jittery about it too, even after that confirmation I received from them but I trust it will be good:P

Edit: Here's the entire email I received..

Hello,

There is an Elemental pre-order on file for you in our system. Your pre-order is being held until the game is made available to you. When this happens, you will receive your registration information via email so that you can gain access to the game in Impulse.

Your card has not yet been charged, however, you may see a pre-authorization to verify that the funds are available.

Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.

Thank you,

Elisa

I was in the beta, but don't see it in my registration list, so beta people won't have it either, looks like it's disabled for everyone.

Basically the same email I got, actually, including the name Elisa. Either the sales support staff are all named Elisa, or they have an AI running their email.

Either way, I'm (again) pleased to hear similar stories. It makes me nervous when I don't have things like formal confirmations.

Uhhhh that made me feel better, thank you very much Daermoth.

Given how many emails their support must be getting over this, I'm fairly certain Elisa, just like everyone else on their support team are getting tons of emails each:P So not a surprise that we got the same person responding.
