As I've said in the past, a one time 'activation' is perfectly acceptable to me.
One online activation is all it should take. I also don't mind Stardock's need to validate on updating, since I'm already online downloading the patch anyway. Although, there are many posts on here where Stardock's updates are failing, which if happened to me would royally suck. There is no sense in needing to prove the game's validity

Ha. One thing.
Anyway, Elemental: War of Magic was released in August 2011.
I'm playing a game from the future?! Sweet jesus that rocks.
Is there any way to do things like this from a GoodieHut effect? For example, the ACP adds old Temples you can raid. What if on occasion, instead of dealing damage to the raider, it releases a catastrophe/benefit that affects the world (such as -1 food production)? Not sure if such tags exist to be used in GoodieHuts though.

Must have? It would be nice. However, the thought process probably goes like so: if you're auto-resolving, you want the battles over quickly, otherwise you'd just play them out.
Heh. I was wondering why the AI was skyrocketing in threat points. The AI really, really likes your guardian spell. The first capital I tried to take out had at least 10 guardians. Each of which proceeded to whack my sovereign for 20-30 damage a piece. It wasn't pretty. I increased cooldown to 999, which pretty much guarantees one cast/magic user. However, I could imbue someone, who could then cast the spell (probably making it to expensiv
Probably been reported, but searching this forum.... You can build on resources outside your area of influence. It'll subtract the resources and then remove the in progress build when you hit end turn. I didn't actually mean to click on the dithered build icon, and will solve this by making sure not to do so in the future...
Do you have mods installed? I didn't think the watchtower even existed anymore as an improvement?

I'd suggest that if you continue to have this issue, post a save game right before a battle that can reproduce the issue into the forum. That way, Stardock can take a look at it. Also, I'm wondering if you were using a mod prior to 1.1 that is no longer compatible and may be doing something wonky.
There is no point to research further once level 5 is hit. If I was to hazard a guess as to why Elemental allows continuous spell research, rather than a coded stop, is to allow modders to put in level 10 spells if they'd like.

My vote is for a release of 1.1. Stability is a go for me.
After winning a battle, but the leader of the group getting killed, every unit in the army disappears. I have reproduced this by winning a battle with a remaining hero unit in which the leader falls, and by escaping from battle when the leader falls. I'll actually attempt to reproduce it on purpose and get a save file before and after the battle.
