Thanks alot for the mention ID - I really appreciate it. I've been focusing more on windowblinds work lately but every now & then I have to go back to check out the latest & greatest bootskins and submit a few myself (Alperium pretty much owns that section and has been making some wicked cool vista themed bootskins lately). Truth be known, bootskins are what got me interested & involved with this site to begin with almost a year ago, before that I didn't even know that it was possi

Here is my 3rd entry into the contest (hopefully I made it in time), I just finished uploading the skin to the site. Hopefully I haven't angered anyone by submitting multiple entries. I was pretty excited to enter this contest, it's my first time participating in an online contest of any kind and more importantly, the tutorial that webgizmo provided allowed me to start skinning objectdock backgrounds and it was something that I had never attempted before and probably wouldn't have unless I had

SkinStudio Vista hasn't been released yet, therefore all blinds are XP only - but will work on Vista. I don't have a problem with mine on Vista, they look and work fine I totally agree, skinning Vista is still very new (we're in an early beta stage at that) and it should ju

LogonStudio Vista requires Windows Vista, you can not run Windows XP & install & use LogonStudio Vista. LogonStudio Vista only works with rtm releases of Windows Vista, you cannot use a CTP release of Vista (community technology preview) like beta 1,2, rc1 or rc2. LogonStudio Vista will not work on any beta vista release. Did you upgrade to Vista from Windows XP? You wouldn't think that would cause a problem but you never know.... Are you using a rtm

Here is my 1st entry into this contest (I would like to add more if I can get them done in time); I uploaded this objectdock background to the site a couple of weeks ago, it turned out pretty good for my 1st attempt at od bkgrnd skinning. I'm very honored to have been mentioned in your list, I always look forward to reading your posts on the skins of the week, I can't believe I was mentioned this time around - this has truly been a great week for me!!! The captain america skin was a very fun wb project to work on, I learned alot of new things while working on that skin and look forward to working on more wb's in the future. *** FYI.... KittyMalone has recently created a set of wicked cool captain america them

sorry it took me so long to reply, I've been busy submitting skins to this site, maybe you've heard of it before.... wincustomize.com I noticed this discussion popped up again in the forums so I figured I would play along as well.

no shame at all, heck this is a great idea! We'll create a vista wb, call it "Phoon Vista" or "Vista: Ultimate Phoon Edition" or maybe just "Phoon: Era of the Orb!" (that last one sounds really good) - immortalized for all time with your very own wb for all generations to download & enjoy! (i'm definitely getting too carried away with this idea)

I really like her frankenstein themed wb, it has a great overall look and lot's of cool animations in that one!

hi sureshot, not sure if I understand what you mean by too far right and too low for the start panel. First off, are you using windows xp or windows vista. Also, I use the default location for my taskbar & startpanel but I've tested it on both top & bottom, left & right locations. In the screenshot I've provided with the wb skin, the default location is shown and it seems to be the same with the rest of my wb skins. My screen resolution is 1024x768, could yo

to answer that 2nd question (which I could have added to previous verbose post), I pretty much download as much as I want, I have a wincustomize subscription which entitles me to limitless downloads on the site so any skin I have ever commented on was tested by myself before leaving feedback.

I still consider myself an amateur wb skinner, I know what really great skin work looks like (as do we all I'm sure) and what my personal preferences are (we each have our own). That being said, I appreciate almost all feedback I receive: good or bad. The feedback I/we don't need is when someone makes a point of telling you that it looks like !@#$%, etc. That is useless feedback, profanity won't make my skin or any other skin on this site look better - I'd like to see that type of hu
