You can't "uninstall" an operating system...you have to wipe it and install a different one. lol thats what I ment, he tried to get Windows XP on it but he couldnt.

My fiance bought a new laptop recently and it had vista on it, he cant uninstall it, he says it sucks and its not compatable with ANYYYYTHING. He also said you have to confirm every little thing you do LOL.

No, im just a slow learner, and after reading all of what you guys have said, and even going through the tutorial I still dont understand Objectdock, so shoot me. I cant read things and take stuff out of them and built on that, I need like......if I wanted to install an Icon...and apply it........ 1) click blah blah 2) open blah blah.....I work in STEPS, I need very to-the-point, easy steps. and its hard to find people, or tutorials that do it the way I understand best.

Is a background a theme? Also, ahhhh, the Objectdock section of this website where you download things. HOW IN THE WORLD do you know if its an icon or a theme or a background? its so confusing.

I have the free version of OD, and bleh I realized you cant put the tray on it, but either way im overhwelmed with all its folders, I dont know which folder does what, and how to download themes or anything.

Objectdock - Eliminating taskbar question in WinCustomize Talk WinCustomize Forums

Im hoping I will get a faster response if I make a new post, because I keep asking questions on my other thread and I doubt alot of people are visiting that thread anymore. Anyways I have the free version of Objectdock and im hoping to eliminate the taskbar all together, I need to know EXACTLY step by step on how to ummm.....as Bandit4edu says "show your tray on the dock".....can anyone help me?

YAY! I got Objectdock, its really cool. I really want to eliminate the taskbar all together but I have 1 problem.....I use Miranda IM, and there is a little miranda dude icon on my taskbar, and when I get a message it flashes and stuff. I tried putting Miranda onto Objectdock and it worked...but it only works to open miranda, and the little online miranda dude icon goes on my original taskbar.......is there any way to put my little miranda dude icon on object dock instead of my taskbar?
