Its been almost a year Zalak, you have a long long long wait ahead of you. I suggest more Sins.

It was more trying to get the point across a bunch of us purchased the game to play multiplayer and basically a year later multiplayer was still not working. After waiting almost a year for the game to become playable i figured asking for a refund was within my rights as a consumer. Yes it was a year later, and yes I had zero expectation of actually getting money back( once again it wasnt the point). If I go to my local Ford dealership, and buy a new Escape take it home and find half
o, the game is pretty much as bad as it sounds. It's playable, but in the sense that making a game out of installing Windows is also playable. There's very little fun to be had.
True. Honestly, the straight out of the box non patched Elemental single player is probably my favorite version. It ran good on my system at least, and had a few more toys. S.R.
We also have 3 subscriptions for Object Desktop too. He gets my money that way as well. Currently running fences and deskcapes, which is very cool.
http://pcrepairlynnwood.com/shelf1.jpg Btw this is just one shelf. I buy a lot of games. Its not an entitlement thing. I own a small business we employ 4 people, and work our butts off. You can be sure if our customers are not happy we figure we are doing something wrong and do what we can to fix it. You will also see the Elemental Box set, Two boxes of Sins
Here is the thing. And I agree it is late for asking for a refund. However look at it this way, StarDock has never delivered a big stinker before that I have purchased. So when they said they would patch it and fix it, I thought what the hey, will wait it out and see. The great thing about impulse is that they can look and see my playing time, which most all of which is the first week of release, then a few hours after each major patch. The other thing is the patches, and game feature
I and several friends purchased the game before release, we pretty much bought it because Galciv2 was so good, and we loved Sins and Demigod and Stardock was apart of those to To be blunt Multiplayer player doesnt work. Brad mentioned in another post Stardock didnt promise this or that for multiplayer but it simply doesnt work even in basic capacity. In single player the game still has numerous issues both in general playability and technical issues. The overall game fl
My phone browser was all messed up and not liking the forum. Not sure how it came out red. Its more of a just pointing out when you put out a quality multiplayer platform and actually support it rather than just say on the side of the box its there, people will play it. S2-Total War is extreamly busy even in Campaiqn mode. There are some bugs but they have patched it a few times since it has came out. It takes awhile to play, and finish a game, yet people are do
Quoting StarReaper, reply 79 I dont think people are really upset about Stardock selling Impulse. Yes most of us ONLY bought from Impulse because its connection to Stardock. What people are upset about Brad is you sold Impulse to Satan. Best not to be melodramatic, it ruins your crediblity. Yea see, knee jerk reaction aside. i decided along time ago that I simply wont purchase from gamestop. Which means I wont purchase from Impulse.
Whats it matter? There now where near the claims on the side of the box and its months and months after release. Now there all like oooohh wooow look at fallen enchantress. Which hopefully will work.
The biggest problem is I dont know that Stardock can actually pull off a full multiplayer game. CIV5 couldnt even run multiplayer with full graphics and im sure there budget is much bigger. Honestly the fact we have to make a poll on the subject of mutliplayer options is just sad. It used to be mutliplayer was kind of expect, and it seems computer companies try to do to much and out smart themselves in the process. I mean look at the the EMOW release ffs. Still months and months later its a b
If a turn based game is good single player, it will be good multiplayer concept wise. The area you run into is say speed/time of game play. Even the TotalWar guys have decided being able to play the main part of the game multiplayer would be worth it.
Im not one for just excepting someones judgement. If the side of the box lies, whos telling the truth?
See if they just came out and said hey look, we screwed the pouch on this game and we are making it right, we promise to make multiplayer later id be totally fine with it. Id just like them to stop beating around the bush.
Oh im not going to argue and disagree with you. Id say an active multiplayer community would be probably between 10-20% 20% being on the high side of course. BTW Shogun total war is release with a co-op mode. So both players can take over countires in the main game, wish they had done it for Medival but looks like from now on they will finally include real co-op and not just 2 player battle mode.
I just think the 1% of TBS are engaging ing multiplayer such a bogus unfounded number. Id love for them to post there sources. Maybe only 1% of people who purchased Elemental play online, then again the intital release of EWOM barely worked single player, MP is useless. S.R.
Hey hows it being silly, I explained decently well. We want single player. We want multiplayer. We want them to be the same thing? Yes other people want variations of that, but if they give us full single player/multiplayer, we can mod down to specifics cant we? Look all this post has proven is of people visiting the forum there is good support for multiplayer as long as they dont dumb it down, and give us a half assed version. Yes and No answers are just fine, its not 100% ac
Epic/ Loved Tie Fighter
Id be annoyed at first, but you know what? As long as its quality I will pay for it.
People who wont touch multiplayer are counted as no ;) "If Elemental had a true stable Multiplayer with all the single player bells and whistles, would you want that, simple Yes or No" That is the question I asked.
Quick question, which is the most current release of EWOM, and can we still not create a custom faction?
Ug i hated sword of the stars :) but then it was Sword of the stars or Sins of a solar, and Sins was prettier, and easier to get friends to play. Im thinking the Elemental crowd, I dont know what the Sword of the Stars and its players are like. I only knew just a couple people in our group that played.
