Quoting Nesrie, reply 142So a stand-alone "expansion" is going to cost maybe the same as a regular game and not an expansion maybe? Well, if you have War of Magic, then Fallen Enchantress will cost as much as an expansion pack. If you don't, then it'll cost as much as a "regular game". No different than someone who owned GalCiv II: Dread Lords -> GalCiv II: Dark Avatar vs. someone guying GalCiv II: Gold Edition.

Also, make armor worn by females female looking. Not chain-mail bikinis or anything dumb, just somewhat different for variety's sake.
Welcome to the Elemental team, Jon! Dont worry bout da playa hata's, dey aways lookin for playa's ta hate. PIZZA for you! [e digicons]:pizza:[/e]
Neato, congrats Unacomn!
Lemme guess, the next headline is going to be something like "Sid Meyer joins Stardock team to help with Elemental."
I'd say, it has quite a ways to go still. It's a diamond in the rough, but it still needs to be cut, polished, and set into a beautiful framework. Right now it is only good for industrial purposes, so to speak.
I shall lend my support for this idea as well. The mysterious black market smuggler who conjures up products from nothing is perplexing and potentially logic defying. I would suggest adding the non-monetary cost of the item to the items in the shop, rather then outright replacing the money cost though. And rename/reskin the shop into the forge or something.
One can always take a screenshot of when someone elses child grows up, and keep them cataloged for later research, so that at least one can know what potential suitors look like.
LOL, now that is the kind of dramatic flare I love to see. Have [e digicons]k1[/e] with a slice of [e digicons]:pizza:[/e] . Will attempt this as soon as possible.
I too must add my voice to the chorus of agreement over having acquired this particular disorder.
Ahhh, good to see the good old Kael style "updating change log."

You need the crystal tech or some such in the "magic" tech tree. It needs to be in your zone of influence. You need enough gilder, citizens, and materials to build it. As far as the title goes, it's kinda like yelling fire in a crowded theater, without any fire. Please try not to be so provacative and misleading next time, kay. Have a [e digicons]:pizza:[/e] .
I would agree, no more managing lots of different mana pools of varying amounts, the new system is far more streamlined and easy to manage from the sound of it. I just hope children in the dynasty don't have mana upkeep, lol.
I am reporting this before the release just so we all understand and can fix it. The insta-train spell is way overpowered in the late game scenarios i have been running in my head. Think about the best company of heavily armored claymore toting SOBs being trained in 1 turn as opposed to 135. Is that really what we want? Why would I use magic for anything else? Which one of you rascals slipped that in? &nb
How interesting, this has dispelled the mystery behind what is meant exactly by multi-threaded AI. Cant wait to try it out in the beta.
If children have a mana upkeep, things might get a little dicey if the dynasty is especially fertile whilst the nation produces little mana. [e digicons]*_*[/e]
The Master has spoken. It would seem my only fears have been addressed.
She will stay will her husband to the bitter end. So any daughter you marry off is gone for gone, and will need to be killed if you go the war with her new faction.
A Civ 4 like hall of fame screen with a list of the scores for all your games, and a replay of the game would be extremely helpful in this regard. Much more so in my opinion than any voice-over or new cinematics.
I think a succession system would add a lot of depth to the game. Arranged marriages would matter a lot more than just a relations boost or for the genetic traits, marriages could have political ramifications. If the heir to a kingdom/empire belongs to another dynasty the two nations could form a personal union (automatic alliance I guess, or maybe something more). If the heir to a nation is the sovereign of another nation, the first nation could get inherited by the second.
All hail the new King!! ... just don't make Elemental too much like FFH2, I did buy Elemental after all, not FFH: The Game [e digicons];P[/e] .
Better buy it before midnight instead of waiting around for answer, lest you miss your chance.
This is awesome news man, I have never heard of such an offer. I mean, two free expansions for free, that's KRAZY!!! [e digicons];P[/e] And yet, I can see how it makes sense business wise, entice customers to buy early so as to establish a nest egg for future development or whatever. But surely we gamers have not grown so cynical as to suspect that 1.1 will be an "expansion." Come on guys let's not be paranoid. [e digicons][/e]
Yes, I agree that champions should be able to specialize in combat as a Conan or whatever style hero. It seem to me that squishy mage is the only viable use of champions once the mid game is reached currently, cause in melee they just get mowed down like grass.
