You know what I don't get, when an ally of yours goes to war with another civ you have to either help them or the allience is off, but if you go to war with another civ your ally NEVER helps you, but the allience is still on. WHAT THE FUCK!
Azrune
Dude are you sure your not a writer?
What the hell is Battlefleet Gothic?
Why do you people insist on making something so simple seem so complicated. Hell your probably intimidating the hell out of those new to this game, if I would have read a post like this when I first bought the game, my brain would have caved in on itself and I would be in the fetal postistion in a dark corner for the rest of my days.
I just thought of something. If your good and since good get really sucktastic bonus's once you've killed off the evil civs, that's when you're supposed to (well what I would do unless i'm going for diplomatic victory every time) stab all your allys in the back, that wouldn't go well, and if there are neutural civs wouldn't it be easy for them to give everyone a kick in the ass. Take that and shove it down your preaching maw!
What the hell does this have to do with v1.3?
This game diary will be loooooooooooooong if you keep going like this, and if you do go like this I doubt you'll finish it.
I doubt it would be good idea, a movie where the hero would be a dictator of a civilazation ordering every random taxpayer to get a rifle and go genocide on a planet while he sit's in an office, listening to ugly torians telling him to get that transport off their yard wouldn't seem that intriging of a plot.
Hmmm, I usually just set my single survey ship on auto-explore Why would you set you suvey ship on auto explore?
Wait are you saying that econ bases only affect trade routes when the minifreighter is in them? Every turn the minifreighter is in the starbases area of affect the amount of trade money increases for that turn.
WW2 games used to be fun, but now it's just beating a long dead horse.
the Attack Gunship. Would it have been to much to think up a good name, just kidding, oh and great read!
Zrim!? What the hell, did I miss something? Where did the Zrim come into Gal Civ, is this something in Dark Avatar?????!!!!!!
There are 10 major races; if you play the custom race can you have 11 majors in the game? Can the minors build the Hyperion Logistics? If you capture a race's Hyperion Logistics, can it build another one? The Hyperion logistics is a galactic wonder so there can only be one in the galaxy.
Not to nitpick or anything but i don't know where 2100 comes from. Probably a typo. Also while we are in the topic of on turn being one week, what the hell is with the production, I mean with cloning and advanced tech and droids and stuff what's with a planet only being able to produce one ship a week at the max??? I hope those workers
They don't target the weakest ship, I they target the one with the most firepower. On one of my games I had a fleet that had a bunch of little fighters with one plasma, but my big ship had several doom rays and much more defenses than any other ship, but the enemy always targeted it first, hehe fleet never even got scratched cause of that.
I've seen similar weirdness with the approval rating. For example, I've seen solid 80% approval ratings drop to 1% with the addition of one additional point of tax (and this is with tax rates already in the eighties, I should add). Your approval will always drop to 1 if you get your taxes in 81, no matter what.
However, I've found that my fickle population just can't stay happy once the population on a planet gets about 20bil or so. That's the reason, it's never worth bosting your pop to 20b on a single planet, go easy on your pop, only build one farm and don't build it one a farm bonus tile and don't research up the farming tech tree.
It has never happened to me; I play as neutral. I understand this can happen if you play as evil. I think there must be a bug, that happened once to me but it was only 3-5 planets out of my 100 or so planets. Was the rebels called the fundamentalists?
Damn all this paypal and credit cards, whoever invented this stuff in the first place needs to go to hell, damn all this digital stuff, what happened to times when you used dollars and you weren't at risk of getting your identity stolen.
Dude you're a god, your genius apparently knows no bounds!
Well one idea would be to name them after a bird.
All you get is other CIVs to like you? Thats alot to get, its one way of winning. The more allies you have, the easier it is to win. Think about all of the trade routes, not to mention protection you get from your allies. The evil races will think twice about attacking you if you have strong allies to back you up. HA! I never need other civs to
Good idea.
