Might be a good idea, but Stardock are not going to be making something like this any time soon. For a start franchise games like this gome at a price and SD have no history of doing it. Also they have a timetable of games to make stretching well into the future, by which time it is lkely that someone else will have done it.

There will be some multiplayer, but seeing as most players pley single player they are putting more effort into that. There is a section of the beta devoted to multiplayer stuff.

It is frustrating if you need to quickly send a unit out onto a road and he gets put on the other side of the city. It would be better to be able to select the unit in the city when you select its icon, then move where you like.

"Right, I've got the magic, lets go conquer the world!" "Er, Mr Sovreign sir, we've got a problem" "Nothing can stop me, I am an immortal channeler!" What about those mountains walling us in on this tiny peninsula?" "Oh." 1260187781

While I think a no-coin economy would be a non-starter, I certainly agree that basic materials should be worth a lot more at the beginning of the game, and are more common and less valuable as the game goes on.

It would be nice if you could have a 'load previous save' option if your sovreign died (ie YOU LOSE with two buttons - main menu or load previous save). This could be used in combo with autosave. I say this after frequent dyingness.

I'm not even sure that the OP even read the article fully. People need to remember that the people writing these 'incriminating' emails are scientists, not politicians. The use of the word 'trick' is the biggest fallacy here. Trick in a scientific or mathematical context usually means a cunning argument in a proof or theory to account for some problem - in other words, the scientist had found a way to explain how global warming would still produce some cooling patterns.&nbsp

Good ideas. One thing I am not looiking forward to in the next beta though is this idea of choosing your next breakthrough (your scholars have made a major breakthough - choose the technology you wish to gain). It may work quite well but in roleplaying terms it's an absolute bomb. But that's what betas are for after all.

A lot of the problems are caused by people not by SD - crappy connections, rage quits and the like. They worked a ridiculous number of hours to get it stable for most people and to insinuate that they have done nothing is quite insulting. The devs are real people remember. Anyway SD is not the developer of the game, and while they did much of the online stuff they didn't develop the main game. Name me any MP game that doesn't have these problems in som
