I like the idea of using the items found on the map or by defeating a monster. Add more items, like dragon eggs or mushrooms on a special tile. Combo this with some researched abilities or building. Crafting should be specific to a item and not to a class of items. The buff to the item should be enough to make it worthy of doing, so +1 or +2 doesn't cut it. I also agree with the fact that what ever can be buffed should have some way to be counter with somethi

It is only champions that get the big +damage. During the game the champion will most likely find something that is better. The usefulness of the hammer really depends on the type or number of champions that you have. This does make the unit better, but I don't believe this makes

I am so tired of people wanting to water down the game. It is totally backwards to make everything basically do the same thing. The game needs more diverse things that do different amounts of damage. Right now, as the game stands, a majority of items basically do the same stuff. The game becomes fun when there are items that turns the table in the game. A great game design happens when the AI can counter these items with other items of their own. I agree

I just noticed something like this also. There was no AI even close to the champion and the champion was recruited. I had a city right next to the champion and I had units to scout the land near the champion and there was no AI there.

If you like WOM and are ok with not having kids then I suggest without a doubt to buy it. The graphics are much better. The AI actually uses magic. You will not be able to settle everywhere like in WOM. The leveling up of champions changed. In EFE you pick traits vs WOM that you add points to certain abilities. Happy Holidays Frogboy. I am in the late stages of a wildlands map game and I really enjoy having all the different wildlands in one map. What I discovered playing this map is once my champions got to about level 16 the tactical battles became one sided. That is definitely a step in the wrong direction. What makes a game fun is to have different kinds of unbalanced items and having the opponents find away around them. This includes the player also. It seems the game is getting put on medication. Nothing that says, "Holy Crap".

In the beta I demons and they where able to get nine times as strong as when they first started. Now, it seems they only can reach five times as strong even though the text says nine. Does anyone know what's up with that?

The problem I had is not so much about selling the weapon and more about the confusion of being able to buy a weapon for the torch bearer. With the weapon not showing, I could not tell if this was an option.

As the research got to the dance with dragons tech, I found my self stuck in some kind of endless loop. I could pick different techs and I could go into different popup windows but I could not get out of any of the popup window to get back to the game. The done button would always disappear after picking something to research.

The stats that come up for the champions when picking a trait during leveling could use the stat strength. It would be very nice to know how much a champion can carry currently in order to determine to pick the strength trait. I say this because I got a double bladed ax that weighed 80 pounds which I think is a bit high and I could not determine if at what strength the champion would be if I choose strength. Flaming ax weapon doesn't show up in the weapons category which made it confusing to replace the weapon by purchasing something else at the shop. If the idea is not to be able to sell the weapon, I think it would be better to show it and not allow it to be sold. If someone tries to sell it then a popup can come up saying this can't be done.

Kestral - Is there any way that this can be put into the game? It would be nice to have an option on the main menu called something like library that can be click on to access these great manuals. I think it would add easy access to a vast amount of information and the manuals would add a nice touch.

Better not do all to much negative balancing when there is so much room for positive balancing (provided the machanic which is overpowered is actually fun and juggernauts very much are at least for me).
