i wish there were allot more diplomatic options in GC, i've screamed for them pretty much since the 1.1 patch of DL but never has anybody responded to it. what am i talking about, able to make custom teams from the start is 1 thing, coalitions and stuff, big 3 vs 3 vs 3 fights.
mystic
it would be a very nice idea and definatly reduce the micromanagement. just make those thingy's a bit more expensive and you can put like 5 on them or even more once you've played for a couple of years already and have the big hulls.
you sure you werent GIVING them away?
well there is a point in allying somebody that is more stronger and powerfull than you, it is logical. however its also nice ifthey take into account the ammount of allies you already have (though i would also wanna be part of thebigger coalition) and what kind of allies you have and what your alligment is.
yea he is always there to answer all sorts of questions, tnx for that.
Large hulls are allot heavier than tiny hulls so the engines need to be allot bigger and stronger to make the big ships move equally fast than a small ship, so more room needs to be taken. also stardock made engines bigger and slower so that the AI would be more effective, the AI can predict were you are going with your ship up till a certain point, if you have 20 parsecs of speed on a ship or faster the AI cannot really predict anymore cause the possibilities are endless, lower speed
i would like to see who would win if i wouldn't make it to the end game. i wanna see if the damage i did to race A was enough for him not to get the victory. Also, i would like the game to keep track of who wins with statistics and all, but i doubt that is gonne happen.
ok, than i misreaded the last message from the devs
and what will be the main differents compared to the previous beta?
what ^ said it true, however i also play DA and i did say 90% all factory planets, more than once. and he could boost a hell of allot ships from there, its one of those priority targets.
-customizable planets (fast and quick) -Customizable ships that you begin with not like with just terran, just solely yourown race. -Characterr attitude -more and more portraits maybe make them movable -trade routes spread and grow for example after a certain amount of timesthe income increase because of tax traffic and new freighters moving into that trade
i believe it is possible to design your own oppononts in DA, the race you create for yourself (with the abilities that you chose) can also be used to play against you i believe. also, to the original poster, its worth every penny. it has tons of new big features.
every game will die eventually, or atleast stop evolving. GCII is not dead, its just in its next stage, DA = DL + more. and from what i heard GCII won't be dead for a good while, wasn't there another expansion pack planned? one for late 2007?, if that is so, than this game will continou to evolve for quite a while. and after that i think it is time to move to another game
i decided to play 1 game at suicidel, tiny map, everything on rare and 1 opponont, the terrans. with trading and stuff i was able to keep them as friends or atleast out of war. i was just testing the korx trading ability and so i skipped like 5 years ahead just to see how much money i would make with trading. than i checked to see how the terrans were doing. i thought the suicidel gave the AI 200% of everything, but its a bit more. i disabled everything on 1 planet with
i've played the latest patch (from dec 15) and it got worlds from atleast me and my neighbour, couldn't see the others. it took 4 worlds from me, while i had like 15. so i just declared war and took them back
best: totally depence on your style, i like a few more of them worst: super spy, what is his advantage? 1 spy (woohoo?) and a tech (wich i can research pretty fast anyway, + spies don't come early in the game anyway). i think this ability is pretty much worthless. indeed super adapter isn't very good either. maybe the super adapter should change its ability to something like, researches 50% faster or something, kinda has the same effect but it becomes good later in th
congrats your making allot of people happy with your answers.
i believe not, if so i've been missing out
large galaxy, 5 oppononts, maso. * some AI planets had like 6 or 7 farms on it with a max pop of 41B. * while at war with the alterian, there approval was 1%, all planets. * while at war with the alterian, they said i parket ships outside there planets, they didn't liked it and took action, but we were already in war. thats what i got from my last game. i also notice the AI builds allot of factory's, allot more than before, good or not? to me it
When you do the Windows + D function to flip to windows screen and than want to return to DA, it crashes. just thought i'd tell you guys
This weekend i wanted to play a nearly bugfree game, so i started a new dreadlords map, and found several bugs in them. for one i never saw any declarations on me, when i looked at the relations i found out i was suddenly at war with 6 out of the 9 AI's, i declared on just 1, that i am sure of. Also the grid looked buggy but that could be the videocard on the laptop. Anyway, could this be caused by the fact DA is installed on the computer?
also, don't forget, i read that the IA hasn't been worked on much YET for DA, that is coming now. so they will be better.
yea happend to me to, pretty early in the game at a point wars start to break out, the yor immediatly surrendered to the korx, it was the thalan who invaded them though. i believe if the IA doesn't have an alliance or close or friendly relationship it will surrender to there attackers.
imo they shouldn\t trade planets at all.
Toxic world would have a medical bonus ,barren world could have a soldiering bonus or anything like that. Maybe the water world would contain some ruins for a research bonus ,barren world for a manufactering bonus. neh, i don't think that would be nice, you will get those planets anyway cause you want the space to build on, and so automaticly yo
