I think this is another classical example of what can infuriate people to resort to piracy. Not saying it's right or wrong, just that it pisses people off needlessly.
Luckmann
Quoting Luckmann, reply 17he talks a lot but says very little. That's you exactly. And you think that because it's little to nothing you can understand. Skip my posts, it's what I usually always do to yours.
Baaaw, did I touch a nerve? Really, I'd be much more inclined to read your posts if you learned some basic grammar, spelling, and didn't go out of your way to antagonize. "That's you exactly" ? <p
So Luckmann, your 'big contribution' is that you're telling us we shouldn't have to care? That's a rather naive viewpoint. The scientific method wouldn't even work if people didn't argue and cross-experiment to prove each other wrong - you're saying we should all live like cavemen, devoid of scientific progress. Not only that, but issues such as the Holocaust are learned in history courses because history tends to repeat its
Well, the way I see it, your just as free to refuse to sign a birthday cake as you are to name your kid after a pretty bad man. You can't really fault either side. Yes, it is his name, but his parents gave it to him. And it's probably his parents who are paying for the cake. So technically, it's simply the cake maker refusing service; completely acceptable if they can handle loss of a sale. Sucks for the kid though
Well, sarcasm doesn't exactly register through writing. I had no way of knowing if you are one of those people who denies that it happened. I can agree that it may be a bit inappropriate to name your child Adolf Hitler, but I absolutely don't see anything inherently wrong with it. I agree that parenting should require some kind of formal license, though. The problem of such a license, of course, is inherently in who grants them - for example, apart from the parents looking retarded (not a crime in itself), I absolutely don't see anything wrong with this situation, except the wanton

I'm just going to go ahead and bump this, since if I just edited my post, I'd never get an answer. How do you use that page? I tried generating some (trying Elemental forums first), but I just couldn't get it to work.
It has its funny parts, but the premise of it I find offensive. Don't portray the show as quality family entertainment when it's anything but.
Depends entirely on your definition of family entertainment, I suppose. Personally, I think that Family Guy is great for a few laughs. In terms of laughs, I guess Peter is my favourite, but when it comes to actual character, Stewie. Stewie and to a lesser extent, Brian. All the way.

The problem with ignoring the laws of physics is that things no longer make any damn sense. To give you a classic example, the ever burning torch.
