Where do you go if all you've got is ridiculous amounts of creativity?
It's obviously inferior, since it has nothing to do with bears or rum.

If I'd have to choose one, I'd say regeneration of the Wolverine kind. Practical immortality.

I played it through, with all 3 of the DLC's that were out at the time (anchorage, the pitt, and broken steel), and had absolutely no trouble with it whatsoever. Zero bugs. Modding looks reasonable enough, and there's one out that makes the starting town into a monster arena, which can be quite amusing. Buy it if you have the spare cash and really, really like Fallout 3. (Note: If you do really enjoy it, be sure to check out the original Fa
If you really, really like Fallout 3 and you've got a really good rig, I think you should get it (despite what I may think of the game myself). It should be noted that I too suffer regular lockups of the entire rig and random crashes in Fallout 3, so it's always a gamble. There's just such a sea of general game-improving mods out there, even if you set your standards for mods as high as I do. If you're really on the fence, you could just pirate the game to see if it runs properly or n

Alpha Centauri had linear tech research, even if it was blind. You just couldn't be sure what you got. Anyway, it's been discussed before and so far I'm sticking to my guns. Alpha Centauri teching was the best.

Somewhat off topic, but in relation to Denryu/GW Swicord, I do hope that we won't -have- to rotate our cameras whatsoever, except for taking fancy photographs. :)

On the topic of LAN parties, I completely agree. We rarely, if ever, had a stable connection. We tended to have some kind of basic connection for the use of IM's and the like, but other than that.. nothing you could play a game on. This somewhat ties into my loathing of how later Diablo II patches and Hellgate handled things. Play in a LAN or Offline, and you only get half the game, forcing you to play on their servers to get the full experience. But I guess that's another topic.
