Just finished the game. I maintain that a score of 6 out of 10 is fair for the game. There are several points in the game I'd like to criticize, where it seems that no matter what you do, the story continues due to deus ex machina, rather than as a natural progression of what you've been doing. The story itself is great and the missions themselves are great, but the storytelling of the overreaching plot is rather horrible. Especially towards the end where it's suddenly "Let's end this

Well I can't really talk about the real combat mechanics, because I try to stay out of it. And for that purpose, I've found the pistol great. Silent kills all-around. :p

Alright. Tried the program and it works great (which is more than you can say about my computer). It's simply amazing. Just execute, and it self-downloads and self-installs everything, program-by-program, in the background. What usually takes me a whole night of configurations and so on only takes me about 5-10 minutes. I'm blown away by how great this works. :D

I was never a fan of the series, really. Dungeon Siege 2 was OKish but nothing to get warmed up over. I only played Dungeon Siege 1 after playing Dungeon Siege 2 and it just felt horribly old. It may have been good back then, but it's not what I'd call a timeless classic. That said, I think this could actually turn out reasonably good. In a similar scenario, I was criticizing EA/Bioware on their "Social Site"; Bam. Without warning, my account was permanently suspended and everything I had bought from EA (all DLC, etc) was unavailable. This is what Steamers, No-LAN proponents and "new age" gamers are signing on to.

That said, I can't really tell a difference, direction-wise. They seem to be going with some post-cyberpunk 'rule of cool' dystopian alientech thing with lots of RADICAL!™. Quite a difference from the near-futureesque low-sci fi setting of Deus Ex.

Some of the stuff you can make can definately pass for a late-teens character. If you're talking 13ish, then no. But I'm sure that modders will accomodate all your hebephilic or ephebophilic needs.
