Not sure on most of those questions but I *think* it's a beta pre-release version available if you pre-order 2.0 I could be wrong but that's what I was under the impression this was, currently.
Hmm... checked mine and I just had to go into settings for the tab and change it. Worked fine. It's not available as an option when right clicking on the dock itself though it appears.
Settings -> Change label font style I believe that's the one. It's not under the tab or dock settings but the more 'general settings' I believe

What kind of dock? I can just drag my tabbed dock anywhere. The screen position of the ani dock seems to work fine for me.
