This is the GAME forum, so it is perfectly acceptable that he post about it here. This isn't the Stardock forum, GPG also posts and replies here. Continue asking the tough questions! In addition, he is not saying he wouldn't put down the monetary support, he is asking if they can be trusted to provide.
That's kind of what I'm getting at.... I have been following the jo

Ok this may come off as a little pissy and yeah maybe it is a little bit but I still think it's a legitimate question to ask. I bought Supreme Commander because it was a CT game, it was the follow up to TA, and it was supposed to have unit/map downloads like TA did. I was sorely dissapointed when there was not a single downloadable piece of content in sight until the expansion. With the expansion even all we got were a couple units per side and an

And by muscle I mean take them to the pub and by nominal fee I mean $500. Thank you. For your future reference, should your services be retained, I prefer to drink top-shelf whiskey.
I'm actually more of a beer snob than a whiskey snob... I also don't
If it is anything like Ohio (where I live) it is nice for 2 weeks a year in the spring and fall, after that its either really hot or really cold.I moved here in January from Houston TX to work at Stardock. You need to redefine "really hot". LOL
eh summers up here get pretty damn miserable lol.

Correct but the problem is people actually connecting to each other, not the matchmaking portion...... It would be nice if you can integrate something like that if not into the custom games but maybe your friends list so you can set up a game and just invite people directly into your game? I dunno... just kind of thinking out loud.

Do they guys at SD/GPG know what technology they are using to establish connections because as far as I can tell it appears pretty air tight. Is there any chance of some sort of collaboration to perhaps integrate this technology with impule/impulse reactor? It seems like it would make things extremely more smooth. Thanks, hope to hear back.

Tried a handful of pantheon games and out of the ones that weren't vs ai or 2v1 every single one had "a player has left the game" as soon as the game started.... so I thought I'd try custom and the same exact thing. everyone dropped at the beginning. I'm on the firewalls DMZ and I've played fine before so I'm not sure why this is happening now all of a sudden

For instance, there are several items/abilities with a +% life steal / life steal aura. If I get a +8% and a +12% life steam item on erebus and then get his life steal aura, do they all stack? If so, how? and how much? Same questions for critical strike Same questions for items that basically give 'proc' effects like AOE dmg or burst dmg

It's unfortunate that so many dota tards are flocking here because they're getting drool all over the place. I mean seriously.. are you daft? The game broke because of the broken street state. That's not to say stardock didn't have a role to play in that but shit.. how much do you want from them? Do you have any clue about software development? I'm guessing no because you're charging around here like a bull elephant in musth... but it takes time.
I just spent the night playing an oldy but goodie, Battle for Middle Earth 2. The online Multiplayer community is still strong even though they completely abandoned it. Why? because of several reasons, but most importantly the way the interface works when trying to join a game. 1st off... when you join the room you dont have to wait to connect to everyone first. Your in right away, then while you are choos

much much much better. 90% of the problems I'm seeing are because players are dopes and don't know what the hell they're doing with their firewalls so they don't have nat set up correctly or they're not on a DMZ, etc. There are occasionally still the 0 ping players even though you appear to be connected so that needs to be resolved but it's much less common now.
Well for those of you not familiar with how Stardock does things, hold on to your hats. We find a problem, we fix it ourselves (if we can) or work with our dev partner to get it fixed. Another update this week and another update next week in all likelyhood. Why? Because if you wait too long to address customer suggestions, bugs, etc. you end up losing the community. Kills me when I buy a game and I have to wait a month or two
