No Lucky, that's not because of the bad localization, it's because of Stardocks politics not to give a pre-release-version to paradox, so the translation can only be done AFTER the release. It's not good to keep hitting the translation if that's only the result of other problems.

They provide some effects and you can trade them to other races. Example: You research dimplomatic translators, this gives you (iirc) +20 diplomacy. in addition to this you are the only one allowed to build them. You can then say "hey altarians, do you want to have them, too?" if they want the +20 diplomacy, they have to trade it from YOU, only YOU. Imagine them like a kind of tech only you can trade to others and others cannot research.
A little help is the ability to right-click on the techs in the trademenu, they bring you the "technical" informations, so what abilities you get, what buildings and so on.
Try switching off Antialiasing, works for my freezes.
As far as I know there is a "maximal" submission of X games in a period of X days, so e.g. 3 games in 10 days. If you sumit more, the score is "lower". I don't remember how exactly this was and if this is really the case for metaverse. I guess only stardock knows what's the fact there.

I don't know if it is important, but your code is buggy. stardemoc0 the closing tag is missing, but it might be because of this so called "forum".
The metaversescore isn't a simple addition of all scores, all scores are calculated by a (unknown) formula, so posting a new score can decrease your overall score.
Try turning off antialiasing, with aa I have lookups, too, without it runs.
For Italy the publisher is Paradox (http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=304) you should ask them about this. Stardock doesn't care on translations, they put only the files in the patches thy get from paradox.

There are some techs that increase the planetclass, but you should colonize other planets, you gain much more advantage from that.

I don't know if it works, but you could trade them influence, then their influencebubble should increase, so they won't surrender.
The softwareactivation comes with the latest update, you could deinstall it (not delete) and then reinstall it without patching it. You should get a 1.0x-release and this release doesn't have any activation. Shure you'll have some bugsm but at least you can play until the problem is solved.

Hey suiban, the typo is not the only problem, the mixed linending (whereever this got into the file) is also responsible. Paradox got the corrected files one or two days after the release of the patch, stardock got them, too. But they aren't available by sdc, when everything goes the same way like in ALL updates till now you'll get them with the 1.2-update. Meaning, all users get 1.2, but Germans get 1.2-binaries and 1.1-datafiles. If you want the corrected file before
